The Charity supports research into HIV infection in resource limited countries. It provides financefor individual researchers to undertake research, or research training. The support is in theform of scholarships that are awarded by a competitive, peer-reviewed, process for definedprogrammes of work.

Aiming to relieve poverty, sickness and distress and advance good health and education for children and young people in Southern Africa and the UK.

To promote public interest in and the science of the breeding of Arabian horses; to advance education for the benefit of the public about horses, horse welfare and Arabian horses in particular; to promote and facilitate the acquisition and distribution of knowledge in all countries of the history, care and treatment of the Arabian breed.

The making of grants to support inter-religious studies.

ZPT supports beneficiary churches in Zimbabwe in their ministry and mission by providing theological training, supplying bibles and support with education and health needs.We also seek to relieve poverty amongst beneficiary churches and their wider communities. In 2024 we launched a special appeal for funds to address the current famine conditions being experienced as a result of the drought.

The primary objects of the CIO are for the public benefit, the relief and assistance of children and young people in Zimbabwe, in particular orphans resident at Montgomery Heights Christian Care Centre, particularly but not exclusively by the provision of (a) specialist care and education provision (b) educational facilities and resources.

Provides funding to individual Catholic young people aged 16 - 24 to undertake voluntary work lasting a minimum period of 10 days or who help to look after sick pilgrims visiting Lourdes.

The charity aims to promote community cohesion and reduce social isolation.We have volunteering and mentoring opportunities, community events and youth projects and advance social and cultural intergration of disadvantaged BAME, refugee, asylum seekers and migrant communities.

ZET supports grass roots organisations in Zimbabwe to deliver projects for vulnerable and marginalised young people. Projects are education focused and vary to include; life skills, vocational skills and work experience, health, birth registration and access to basic human rights, as well as teaching about conservation agriculture.

The relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. Support of Christian organisations which promote pastoral care and well being in their communities.

In line with the charity objectives to relieve financial hardship, sickness and poor health amongst pensioners in Zimbabwe, in particular, but nor exclusively by making grants for food and medicines for Zimbabwean pensioners.

The Trustees maintain regular correspondence with those Pastors and Workers that the Charity supports, and send financial support on both a regular and occasional basis to them and /or their associated ministry organizations.

Financial year 2016 to 2017 was a successful year for our charity as a modest growth in income received from our donors was achieved helping us fund various projects for those in need approaching us for assistance. Concerted efforts started at the end of 2013 to increase awareness of what we do as a Church especially around spiritual growth and charitable activities has continued to bear fruit.

TO PROMOTE THE PROTECTION OF LIFE AMONGST COMMUNITIES IN NEED IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD BY THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING TO IMPROVE THE FIRE FIGHTING, FIRST AID AND RESCUE CAPABILITIES.

To advance education and knowledge for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively by providing skills and knowledge on the use of earth as a building material through training, advocacy, consultancy, promoting research and disseminating the useful results of such research.

Precious Gems is actively involved in building the capacity of women and young people, by identifying their gifts and talents and utilising these gifts and talents to enable them meet their identified social, economic, mental and environmental needs in their community. We operate in the United Kingdom and through our partner organisations outside the United Kingdom.
