This is done at present through an education sponsorship scheme and through individual donations. We are devising material for schools informing them of the work of Restoration of Hope for assemblies, etc and asking them if they are able to raise funds for Hope in Burundi.

The object of the fund is to assist in the provision of education at Huntington School in the wider sense of the word. The fund supports extra curricular activities which are not supported by the main school budget and receives income from fundraising activities. It does not exist to generate profit but to act as a bank for a wide number of activities.

The charity provides support to a cardiac rehabilitation programme, including exercise classes and counselling services, for all cardiac patients in the catchment area of Yeovil District Hospital. Fundraising events and private donations enable the charity to maintain and replace gym equipment for the rehabilitation unit and and to fund specialist training for the cardiac staff at YDH.

Bathampton Playgroup runs for 4 1/2 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 3 1/2 hours on Friday morning and 2 hours on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons during school term time. Children from age two-and-a half years old to 5 years old are accepted. The playgroup has been in existence for over 50 years and many in the village are involved in its committees, fund-raising and organising.

SPaCE puts on awareness raising and fundraising events in Sheffield. We send money to projects operating in the OPT (including Gaza) that are delivering improvement to the cultural life and mental health of young people
