By various projects we raise funds, typically from the general public, but also from Rotary club members and we donate this money to other charities or worthy causes/individuals. We also perform directly some services for the local community.

Running events such our Christmas Carol Float, Cherished Vehicle Show, Christmas Bazaar to raise funds to be mainly used to benefit local organisations & good causes, also some National & International good causes.

The Gratton Trust maintains the recreation area and open space known as 'The Gratton' in the village of Sutton Scotney for public use of surrounding parish. This includes a play area, tennis court, football pitches, pavilion and general grassed areas. The income for the upkeep is generated by fundraising, private donations and grants.

Assist and support visually impaired in Selby District by supplying information, specialised equipment, advice, home visits, and social events. Social events include Bowls, Crafts, Knitting, Coffee mornings and fundraising events. We have open 4 days a week a Resource Centre to view specialised equipment and for demonstration. Some equipment available on loan.

Our activities: 1. fundraising to purchase, restore and preserve the Mint House, Pevensey, as a Tudor Museum and local Heritage Centre. 2. fundraising for the provision of community charitable activities to include groups traditionally excluded from heritage, 3. fundraising for building, historical, archaeological and artwork surveys for the education and benefit of the community.

The objects of the Friends of St. Mary's Church Alverstoke shall be to raise funds as necessary to maintain, repair,preserve, improve, beautify and reconstruct for the benefit of the public the fabric of the Church of St. Mary Alverstoke in monuments, fixtures, fittings, jurniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its churchyard.
