Burry Port Town Band is a traditional brass band located in Burry Port. The band was founded in 1896 and has a rich and proud history. The band organises a number of concerts, fundraising events and also supports community & charitable organisations across South Wales and relies on donations and money raised. We also have a Junior Band.

The Friends Of Mapledown School raises funds and organises events to supplement and enrich school life. Over the years we have purchased countless items of specialised equipment and organised social events to bring people together.
