Operate (generally) weekly, term-time Scout and Guiding acivity sections for young people. Organise, and where neccessary raise funds for, regular trips, camps and outdoor activities for the section members. Maintain/improve HQ resources, including equipment, with strict regard for health and safety regulations/requirements.

Provision of adult education classes, family learning courses, clubs, groups, activities for junior, teenage and adult members of the local community together with functions, social events, fund raising and workshops. Sackville College is a beautiful Jacobean almshouse which provides accommodation for local elderly people of limited means. The flats are comfortable, warm, safe and secure. There is a strong community spirit. The college is not supported by the Government and relies on fundraising events, visitors, donations and a very low weekly charge for its income.

The Pre-school provides a happy and secure environment for children, through a wide range of play activities, organised by a well-qualified team of staff and supported by the fundraising and management team of the committee. The variety of activities on offer encourages children to develop physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills through play, which help prepare them for school life.

Rescue and rehome dogs, fund raising event,

We are a local committee run pre school in Dorset and operate from a detached unit in the grounds of a local primary school. We currently provide care for 39 children aged 2 years 3 months - 4 years old. We help prepare them for reception/primary school and follow the EYFS guidelines to achieve this. To run smoothly we rely on Government funding, fees from parents and fundraising for resources.

Care & Education of pre-school children from 2yrs to starting school. we include children with special educational needs and children with English as a second language. We provide training and support for staff and parents/carers, and we fund raise to keep costs down.

HEAL --involved in fundraising on behalf of HEAL India to run a range of projects

We are a community Pre-school and we are allowed to cater for 23 children per morning session between 8.20/9.00/11.45 - 12.00/2.45pm term-time only. We receive 15 hours funding for our three years olds from the Government and now receive funding for 10 hours for some two year olds. Rely on Fund-raising. We operate, adhere the guidedance of Pre-school learning Alliance with joint Policies.
