The Nightingale serves patients, relatives, carers, friends and those who are concerned about cancer care. We hope to be able to provide help and information to those who need it along their journey.We aim to work together with existing services within the borough and to co-ordinate local volunteer teams so that valuable resources are used to best effect

Our mission is to provide maximum love and care for domestic animals in our area and beyond, leave no animal alone and unwanted and promote excellent standards of animal welfare. Wherever possible we will achieve this using committed, animal loving, volunteers in our fundraising, rehoming and welfare activities.

The charity is active in North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, enabling men and women to regain independence following a period of dependency on drugs , alcohol or the use of both. It has a social enterprise which helps men and women get ready for work by providing opportunities for purposeful voluntary work in retail services. This includes free tuition for appropriate volunteers.

It makes the views and experiences of members of the general public known to health and social care providers, and it provides training for volunteers and the wider community in understanding, scrutinizing, reviewing and monitoring local health and care services and facilities.

Care Network supports vulnerable people in Blackburn with Darwen to live independently by referring them onto a range of quality assured services inc. information and advice and home maintenance services (through our safe trader scheme), a range of health and wellbeing services provided locally through our Hub service and through the delivery of our volunteer and disability support schemes.

To offer support to parents of families that are going through difficult times and have children under 5 years of age. Trained volunteers are assigned to visit families in the families' own home and provide support, friendship and practical help

The Fardad Foundation (TFF) is a UK registered charity that works directly with young people from deprived neighbourhoods, educational institutions and employers to provide bespoke support pathways towards the fulfilment of their potential. TFF develops and delivers programmes, working with third parties and volunteers. The programmes include mentoring, workshops, work experiences and modules.

The Children's Literacy Charity (formerly Springboard for Children) works within schools and communities, providing an onsite Literacy Lab for children with literacy difficulties. Darnall Well Being are working to help the people of Darnall, Tinsley and neighbouring areas of Sheffield stay healthy. We offer a combination of activities, 1 to 1 support and volunteering opportunities, as well as delivering local health campaigns, health events, training and talks.

Home-Start Kirklees is a volunteer led family support charity offering early intervention support to vulnerable families with young children. Support centres on 1:1 home visits made by specialist staff & community volunteers. Volunteers are recruited, trained & supervised in a range of roles. We specialise in supporting young parents 14-24 years with peer support, 1:1 support & group activities.

FLVC is the umbrella and support organisation for voluntary and community organisations in Flintshire, providing, advice, information and help with funding, governance, volunteering and promoting voluntary action in the county.
