The Sea Cadets is nationwide voluntary youth organisation, open to young people aged 12 to 18 and with Junior Sections open to those of 10 to 12 years of age, run by qualified adult volunteers. Its aim is to provide Cadets with structured training so they can progress towards good citizenship, as well as achieve nationally recognized qualifications.

Columbia Community Centre is a locally run hub, offering free wifi, advice, help and support to all, It holds regular committee meetings, trains and supports its volunteers and hosts regular group meetings including weekly coffee mornings, friendship groups, senior clubs, ICT training, dance & exercise groups, yoga, war games society, craft activities, wildlife group and bookings for parties

The 9th Kenton Scout Group is a not for profit charitable organisation which works with young people, aged 6-14, locally. We are all volunteers seeking to encourage & support them in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social & spiritual potential as individuals, responsible citizens & members of their local community through a varied programme of indoor & outdoor Scouting activities.

Continue to use the income from the sale of Sonning Fire Station and to distribute the Trust's income in accordance with our Charity Commission Scheme.

Involved in education of the public in all matters relating to Anglo-Saxon Suffolk, and in particular the Anglo Saxon Burial site at Sutton Hoo. Provides tour guides to volunteer with the National Trust to show the public around the site. Publishes a twice yearly newsletter for our membership.

Friends of Gressenhall support the work of the Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse Museum, its collections and its volunteer groups.

Local branch of the RSPCA covering a large rural area of North Yorkshire, run by volunteers who fundraise to help the welfare of local animals.

The group provides a varied programme of activities covering areas of sport education and training. We follow the scouting principles and try to ensure a safe and secure environment to encourage young people and volunteer leaders to achieve their potential.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts groups, run by local volunteers for the young people of Stalbridge and the surrounding areas.

WISH arranges group holidays and day trips throughout the year for disabled adults in the Banes area. One to one volunteer carers are provided at no cost to the disabled person. Travelling in UK is by lift-coach so that wheelchair users can be taken up into the coach and can transfer to a seat or remain in their chair in a clamped position.

To provide country holidays for under-privileged children from the Birmingham area. The trust is geared to help those families and groups who have limited financial resources. Weekend holidays for children are organised and run by teams of volunteers, who give freely of their time for the benefit of the children. The cost of these holidays is subsidised by the trust.

A Uniformed Volunteer Youth Organisation for young people aged 10-18 which is based on traditions of the Royal Navy. Cadets and Adult volunteers actively enjoy taking part in water sports, camping and all aspects of Sea Cadet life.

To provide a safe and caring environment where volunteers, including those with Learning Disabilities, can refurbish donated old tools transforming them into working tool-kits for onward distribution to local groups & developing countries. Our comprehensive tool kits help support and empower Artisan and Women's groups contributing to their community's self-reliance.

We run and develop groups for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who live in the Wingerworth area.Each group has weekly meetings in term time plus appropriate activities for each age group, such as weekend camps and introductions to a variety of activities, including sailing and archery,as well as the annual November bonfire. The group is run by volunteers, who will always welcome help from others.

The provision of a varied and structured programme of activities, delivered by trained volunteer leaders, to enable girls and young women to reach their full potential. Promotion and advancement of the arts through a programme of Talks, Outings, volunteering, recording local artefacts, and financial support of the arts in local schools and other organisations. In furtherance of this purpose the Society shall have power to arrange lectures and organise appropriate activities including visits to houses, collections, museums and other places of relevant interest.

We link business donors with community needs. As pioneers of corporate social responsibility, funded and managed by our business supporters, we deliver help in cash or in kind, by volunteering and by practical fieldwork, addressing appeals from all ages, all abilities. We arrange recycling/re-use of many office and domestic items.

Risinghurst Community Association covers the areas of Risinghurst, parts of Quarry and Sandhills, to support community based activities and events.Our volunteers operate a community centre building, with a busy schedule of weekly activities, including many private hire dance and fitness groups, as well as community led groups for mothers and toddlers and senior citizens.

We run a local day centre for older pensioners, some have disabilities. We open 2 days per week, 10.00am-3.00pm and aim to provide a cheerful and constructive day for members to meet, take part in activities and have a good lunch. We depend on volunteers and have two part time organisers.

Provides transport to medical appointments using volunteer drivers.

This is a volunteer-run group that helps young people in Northern Ireland, particularly those from disadvantaged areas most affected by decades of violence and community tension. We believe that the best hope for peace and reconciliation is to support cross-community projects, in which young people aged 11-18 can work together to learn new skills, build friendships and develop confidence.
