Home-Start Kirklees is a volunteer led family support charity offering early intervention support to vulnerable families with young children. Support centres on 1:1 home visits made by specialist staff & community volunteers. Volunteers are recruited, trained & supervised in a range of roles. We specialise in supporting young parents 14-24 years with peer support, 1:1 support & group activities.

The Youth Engagement Programme works with young people in need, we specialise in supporting young people in work placements and volunteering to enable them to gain valuable skills than can be transferable to other areas of their life and work opportunities. The organisation provides specialist face to face and online support, which includes counselling, group work, advocacy and practical support delivered from 3 office bases in Exeter, Torquay and Barnstaple and outreach venues across Devon. These services are delivered by a team of paid staff and volunteers.

(a) the relief of sickness by the provision of medical services and emergency relief particularly at public gatherings; (b) to advance the education and training of members and volunteers of the Charity, and of members of the public in general, in the subject of medical care ; and(c) any Charitable purpose which the trustees shall from time to time think fit

Rushmoor voluntary services supports voluntary action. We are here to help increase the skills and capacity of local voluntary and community groups. We provide free information, advice and support to enable groups to help people in Farnborough, Aldershot and the surrounding area. We also manage a volunteer centre, home help service, dial a ride transport services and community transport scheme.

We recruit and train volunteers to visit families with at least one child under the age of twelve and who live in the area of Suffolk county. Volunteers offer informal, friendly and confidential support. Families are encouraged to widen their network of relationships and use services available within the community. Family groups and workshops are also provided.
