We provide companionship, nourishment, entertainment and care for ten elderly people who have been referred to us by Cheshire West & Chester Social Services. They meet every Thursday at Farndon Memorial Hall. Transport each way is provided by registered volunteers.

Meets monthly. The Society gives talks on a historical/cultural/educational subjects of interest to the members. There are occasional outings to an area of historical interest.The society opened a Heritage Centre in Builth Wells in 2021. It is run by volunteers.

Main purpose to provide a volunteer "taxi service" to needy people to hospital, surgeries only at present. Office in local church staffed(10-12 am) ,at present only Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, by volunteers who put those in need in touch with drivers. We no longer run an alarm aids scheme.

We are a group of volunteers responsible for the maintenance of the village playing fields, pavilion and children's play equipment, with full responsibility for replacement when needed. We organise various fund raising activities throughout the year to help pay for repairs and renewals.

Cere-pal is a local group of volunteers,parents and friends who are caring for people with cerebral palsy in and around the Peterborough area. The group exists to enable people to share experiences and provide mutual support. Our fund-raising enables us to provide services, advice, equipment etc through grant aid and lobbying to help those with special needs.

We fund raise to provide education/training and sport/recreation. In addition, we provide grants and human resources for staff/volunteers.

Playgroup for children under five years of age run by parent carer volunteers

Southfield WI is outward looking, it has monthly meetings with speakers, reading group, visits to theatre, and historical places. It supports G.F.W.I. events, including music, drama, crafts, and environmental issues. Southfield gives a bursary for educational courses, welcomes visitors, and gives social companionship for its members. Many members volunteer for local causes.

Colyton Link is a self funding scheme which provides a transport service to medical and medical related appointments for the residents of Colyton and Colyford. A pool of volunteer drivers using their own vehicles transport the clients and receive payments for expenses incurred. Colyton Link also makes donations to local projects and groups.

The Welsh island of Flat Holm is a unique SSSI Local Nature Reserve in the Bristol Channel & managed by a Partnership of Cardiff City Council & The Flat Holm Society. The charity is a Scout Group within East Herts District run by Trustees appointed under the Rules of The Scout Association. It provides the opportunities for boys and girls aged 6 thru 16 for which the Scout movement is well known in three age groups, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, led by Warranted Leaders. The Friends of Smithills Hall, working in partnership with Bolton council, seek to enhance and preserve the attractions of Smithills Hall, a building of architectural and historic interest open to the public. The Wheelers & Wobblers are a self-funded, volunteer led disabled sports and social charity that meet on Wednesday in Cluntergate Community Centre, Horbury. We provide various fun events, chair exercises, arts & crafts and games to keep us active and provide training for many competitions in sports including bowls, boccia, snooker and table-tennis. We also have a full programme of wellbeing events

The Club is open to young people who live in the Borough of Sefton. It is run by volunteers and provides facilities to teach and develop, sailing and water safety.
