This service is for blind and visually impaired people of the area. It is also for people for whom handling a traditional newspaper is difficult/impossible by reason of some other disability. To ensure sufficient and adequate playing opportunities for the children of the popular village of Cherhill in Wiltshire. The fields are maintained by volunteers to provide a clean, safe and enjoyable environment for children, their parents and grandparents alike. Fund raising is vital to ensure there are sufficient monies for repairs & maintenance and for replacement and/or new equipment.

We are all volunteers who record the local news on tape every week for blind persons. We read and record on a Monday evening and our listeners receive a tape the next day. We also send out a magazine on tape 4 times a year.

The Parish Hall is maintained by a group of Volunteers, it is hired out to various organisations throughout the week and social events are held throughout the year by local people in the parish. Our main role is to ensure everything runs smoothly and that enough funds are available for maintaining the hall and keeing it in good repair.
