The Trustee's aim is that through fundraising activities, events and appeals we will further improve the provision of high quality patient care throughout the Trust, focusing on the use of modern technology in areas not covered or fully supported by central NHS funds.

To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the public, principally in Teignbridge and build the capacity of 3rd sector organisations, ovide them with support, information and services to enable them to pursue or contribute to any charitable purpose. To promote, organise and facilitate co-operation and partnership working between third sector, statutory and other relevant bodies

Our aim is to inspire strong and sustainable communities through voluntary and communityaction. We provide information, advice, training and support to charities and community groups andrepresent the sector on strategic bodies. We also run the Volunteer Service, inspiring people to make adifference in their communities.

We raise funds for the relief of cancer patients in Shropshire Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales. Donations are made to assist with the purchase of equipment and to ensure that cancer facilities are of a very high standard. Current fundraising to achieve this is through the Ruby Appeal. We are also looking at projects to encourage public engagement with screening programmes and awareness of symptoms

We source edible surplus food from food manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers, which would otherwise be disposed of as waste. We redistribute this food, and donated food, through community food members to disadvantaged groups. We provide a wide range of meaningful volunteering and/or work experience opportunities for individuals from all walks of life. We provide training for our volunteers.

A channel for charitable giving of Yorkshire Building Society ('YBS'). Its two priority areas are alleviating poverty and improving health/saving lives. To do so it makes donations for a specific purpose/item to registered charities, recommended by members and colleagues, who support beneficiaries such as children, the seriously ill, the elderly, the homeless and the disabled in the UK.

SDA provides information, welfare benefits advice, deaf communication, volunteers befriending, personal & group development, access to sports, domiciliary home care, palliative domiciliary care and supports various user activity and learning groups.

The activities of the charity are the promotion for the public benefit of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation in County Durham and surrounding area. Activities include delivering services and activities to improve mental and physical health and wellbeing, improving educational attainment, supporting third sector organisations and volunteers,

our objects are to serve the poor of Christ, the care of the sick and the wounded and the advancement of the Roman Catholic religion. We fulfil these objects by running pilgrimages and organising volunteers for various undertakings.

Koala North West offers emotional and practical support to families. We aim to strengthen and widen the social support network of families. Volunteers, who are parents themselves are carefully matched to the needs of the family; they then visit the family at home, building a strong supportive relationship offering friendship, reassurance and practical help.

Group sessions where the rewards of friendship and communication with other similar to you are well worth it.Short breaks are fun but challenging, and really help develop new life skills, such as sharing, cooperation, patience, and self worth.One to one support is a unique opportunity to explore real life goals, such as managing money, working, volunteering, being more independent.

We are a mental health charity that provides early and timely intervention for people struggling with their mental health. We provide therapy to people and work to help people with their mental health, reduce homelessness and prevent suicide. We fundraise through events and people individually fundraising.

Tree of Hope is the fundraising charity that helps children and young people with a disability or illness by supporting their families to raise the money they need to pay for specialist operations, equipment, therapies and services that is not freely available through the UK healthcare system.

Size of Wales aims to engage the people in Wales in helping to protect an area of tropical forests totaling two million hectares, through direct fundraising with employers, individuals, companies and match funding the fundraising efforts of our partners. Size of Wales also raises awareness, in Wales and the wider UK, of the importance of tropical forests for the global climate.

Development and support services for local voluntary and community organisations.

Refurnish collects unwanted reusable household goods throughout Devon, Plymouth & Torbay to reduce the amount of goods going to waste & help alleviate poverty by providing them at low cost to local people. Electrical goods are professionally tested/repaired. We create employment, training and volunteering opportunities particularly for people who are long term unemployed and/or have support needs.

The charity acts to support the continuance and development of the voluntary and community sector in Southend-on-Sea as well as leading, on behalf of other agencies and Councils for Voluntary Services, on work of wider significance throughout Essex and beyond.

The objectives of Age Concern Gloucestershire are to promote the well being of all older people and help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. The Charity delivers its charitable objectives through direct delivery using its own staff and volunteers.
