Education/Training - the centre organises religious courses and provides training for GSCE standard Islamic Study courses.Relief of Poverty - the centre raises funds for the poor and needy, for example, Ramadan Relief for the orphans.Sport/recreation - the centre organises sport activities like inter-community football tournaments.

The charity is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age. It provides 8 sessions per week to children under 5 years of age. It holds a number of fundraising events throughout the year that are supported by the parents and the local community.

Operate (generally) weekly, term-time Scout and Guiding acivity sections for young people. Organise, and where neccessary raise funds for, regular trips, camps and outdoor activities for the section members. Maintain/improve HQ resources, including equipment, with strict regard for health and safety regulations/requirements.

Chorley Women's Centre promotes the mental health and wellbeing of women in Chorley and surrounding areas. We provide a listening ear to drop in users, courses, information, self help groups, free counselling, and relaxation sessions.We are run by volunteers and open 2 days a week, and 1 day for DV CounsellingDrop in users may go on to become volunteers and then on to the management committee.

To assist the elderly to live independently at home. Advocacy, Advice, Access to a solicitor, Drop-in sessions, Gardening service, Lunch Clubs, Bingo Clubs, Community Tea Bar, Men's Group, Craft Group, Newsletters, Sign posting, Volunteering opportunities, Friendship Group, Singing Group, Memory Cafe, Carers Group.

Provision of adult education classes, family learning courses, clubs, groups, activities for junior, teenage and adult members of the local community together with functions, social events, fund raising and workshops. Partnerships with local authority, education centre, community police, counselling groups, workskill workshops and other community groups.

Raise money to maintain the Hall through different activities. Regular users are Bowls, Community Council, Line Dancing, Circuits, Social Hub, Quiz nights and Singalongs. Facilities have been improved through funding from Brechfa Forest West Wind Farm Community Fund. The primary school regularly uses the facilities. We hold fundraising events such as fairs and Tribute Evenings.

Raising funds for a school

The Charity aims to preserve and promote Hindu Culture. It provides Language and Dance classes for Children and Young people and organises religious and Cultural activities which it promotes in the wider community. It organises social and recreational activities for the Elderly. It raises funds for the establishment of a Hindu Community Centre in Milton Keynes.

The charity operates throughout England and Wales through the trustees and a supporting team of volunteers to render assistance to Pug dogs in need for whatever reason by re-homing in previously vetted homes and providing immediate & essential veterinary care where required prior to said re-homing.

The Bournemouth Aviation Museum is now situated opposite the airport in the grounds of Adventure Wonderland .The museum is open every day during the summer 10am till 5pm and at weekends in the winter from 10am until 4pm. The museum will only be closed during this time due to adverse weather or shortage of volunteers. We always need more volunteers to keep the museum open.

The Mothers' Union works to support families both locally and worldwide by fulfilling our aims and objects. Work is undertaken by members who are involved in social policy issues and who raise funds to support our overseas work. On a local level our members offer practical support to families in Lancashire and throughout the Anglican Communion.

Friends of UCD was established for fundraising for the purpose of the furtherance of education and research carried out by University College Dublin.

Runs one charity shop and other fundraising events to support Danesbury Neurological Centre (an NHS facility treating adults with neurological problems) and Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital (which provides rehabilitation following a stay in an acute hospital) as well as occasional support to other Hertfordshire NHS facilities providing similar rehabilitation.

The charity makes grants and bursaries to individuals in aid of technical education connected to industries in the automotive, aerospace and coachmaking sectors. It also supports charitable institutions and voluntary bodies and members of the UK armed services .The charity raises charitable funds mainly from its members but also raises funds from the general public from time to time.

Publish & distribute quarterly magazine. Arrange evening lectures. Introduce volunteers to the NRM. Publish books on railway topics. Promote the NRM's activities.

Patient-run: website, booklets, a helpline run by trained volunteers who can answer medical questions and counsel people with any psychological worries. For subscribers: quarterly journals, leaflets on all aspects of the virus, meetings, seminars.Re shingles and neurogenic pain, we supply a 17-page information pack. This pain is especially severe in the elderly and is difficult to treat.

We raise funds for new equipment, toys and day trips by means of sponsorship from the parents/carers of the children.

We provide subsidised veterinary treatment for animals owned by local people on low income. We take in and rehome unwanted, abandoned and stray animals.We respond to enquires from the public on a whole range of animal welfare issues. We also provide volunteering opportunities for those who wish to support our work, including trusteeship, fundraising and providing work experience placements.

To support charities, local groups and individuals in Stevenage and the immediate surrounding area with small grants. Money is raised from corporate membership subscription, fund raising and donations.
