We provide education, training, volunteering and associated support for excluded adults in Greater Manchester. Our services are aimed at adults who have been through some form of resettlement process related to substance misuse, homelessness, mental illnes, or offending behaviour. We also provide resources /training for other organisations in our field. (Formerly known as MERC and NEARIS.)

The object of Resource for London is to benefit the public by the promotion and improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of charitable organisations. Its principal activity is to operate a resource centre for charities, providing them with office accommodation, conference rooms, meeting rooms and other facilities at an affordable rent.

Raises funds to provide most advanced medical equipment and associated facilities including building of premises on a site within, adjoining or near to any hospital or health centre within Buckinghamshire and adjacent counties, designed to provide all the facilities required by the housing and operating of such equipment.

To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the Borough Of Slough and local areas.

SASH prevents vulnerable young people from becoming homeless by offering them a room in a volunteer?s home. We provide emergency accommodation through our Nightstop Service for up to 14 nights. Longer term accommodation, for up to 2 years is provided through our Supported Lodgings schemes.

The charity seeks to secure donations, legacies and sponsorship, and seeks to provide the additional support to make a real difference for the patients, their families and the staff at the NHS facilities in the county. The charity actively supports volunteers who have individually promoted fundraising events through advertising and advice.

To meet un-served social needs in South Somerset, Mendip and Sedgemoor by providing high quality support to voluntary and community sector organisations and, where appropriate, through direct provision of services.

The Clare Milne Trust supports disability projects in or close to Devon and Cornwall. The Trust prefers to help smaller effective charities with good volunteer suppport. The Trust does not support individuals with a disability directly.

The Hub provides a range of activities for all ages in the communities of Hollinwood and Leesbrook. Current activities includes youth work, mentoring, NEET intervention, family support, holiday activities, community kitchen and growing projects, volunteering, advice and support drop in's and adult education.

Running a large fostering scheme with private boarding facilities for dogs.Helping people on means tested benefits with neutering and veterinary bills. Fundraising in order to support the above activities.

To advance amateur sport and arts for disadvantaged people. Includes grants and fundraising to eligible individuals, clubs and schools, and the provision of community facilities and equipment. To advance environmental protection and the relief of poverty for low income families. This is by the provision of community facilities for the recycling and resale of furniture, clothes and household items.

We raise funds, run a hospital shop and radio station (Hospital Radio Barnet) in support of Barnet Hospital, purchasing requested equipment and comforts items for patients and staff.

Health & Wellbeing Screening and Health advice to self referred, asymptomatic members of the community, to detect early signs of life threatening illness . No charge is made. The Charity relies on volunteers, supporters, donations, grants and fundraising. The NHS does not provide financial support. The Trust was formed in 1988 on the death of Mary How from bowel cancer.

The objects of the Charity are specifically restricted to the following: a. to advance the education of the pupils by raising funds for items and activities over and above these which the LEA provide for; b. in partnership with community organisations and businesses assist in developing the lives and well-being of the community;

Providing recreational and social opportunities through a variety of drop-in groups for families and individuals, as well as volunteering opportunities aimed at reducing isolation and benefitting the organisation, individuals and the wider community.

Limmud is a unique model of cross-communal, grass-roots, volunteer-driven Jewish learning and leadership development. Volunteers and participants come to our educational events from all walks of life, age-range and connection to the Jewish community. We aim to enable each person to go "one step further on their own Jewish journey" and make their contribution to the community.

Footprints in the Community exists to assist with the relief of poverty in Redcar and Cleveland. This may be through emergency food provision (Redcar Area Foodbank), assistance with baby equipment, referral to counselling, befriending and general help, or various other activities. Footprints in the Community is the umbrella organisation under which projects will be formed to help local people

OCVA is the main umbrella body for voluntary and community groups in Oxfordshire. We aim to enable a diverse voluntary and community sector to flourish. We do this by providing advice, information and training, acting as advocates and representatives, and building partnerships.
