To improve the social conditions and emotional wellbeing of persons in Calderdale through the provision of counselling, peer support, training, work / volunteering opportunities and debt & budgeting advice.

We provide sport and leisure facilities to the residents of Cricklade and the surrounding communities. We have a swimming pool and over 10 local schools use this, an indoor climbing wall built from donations, and facilities for many other sports.We are run by a group of volunteers, and saved the centre from closure thanks to the generosity of the local residents and their continuing use.

We support anyone with a mental health problem to get well and stay well for longer. We run a Recovery College which offers 1-to-1 support, psycho-educational courses, peer support groups, volunteering and counselling. We also offer opportunities for further training and we support people to access other agencies when needed.

The Young Brent Foundation [YBF] is a membership, infrastructure support organisation, focused on Brent youngpeople, supporting the VCS, not-for-profit and social enterprises and has five headline priorities Venue Bank, SmallGrants, revenue generation for the sector and capacity support to ensure contract / grant readiness and collaboration and networking to develop cross sector working.

The principal aim of the Arnold Foundation for Rugby School is to raise funds:*to provide more bursary awards for boarding places, subject to parental means testing, thereby widening access to the School, so that more talented pupils may benefit from an education at Rugby School, irrespective of their families' ability to pay the fees, and*to help to improve the infrastructure of Rugby School.

The Farm provides volunteering opportunities, particularly for disadvantaged people and an informal educational environment for children, young people and their families, with an emphasis on healthy living and caring for the environment, we also hold community activities such as evening bat walks. The Farm offers year round open access to the meadows, woodland, wildlife pond and farmyard.

The charity provides day centre facilities for up to 100 service users. These facilities are set up to provide life educationexperience and preparation, where appropriate, for employment or volunteering. They are managed to providepractical skills, emotional support and to assist with personal development to enable users to achieve their potential.

The charity supports, provides advice, advocacy, and signposting to men, and women who have suffered domestic abuse and violence, sexual abuse, rape, sexual assault and historical child sexual abuse. The charity works across North and North East Lincolnshire through the provision of paid staff (3 Independent Domestic Violence Advisors and 2 Independent Sexual Violence A) and volunteers.

The Trust raises funds to support the work of the Chapter of Hereford Cathedral.

Secured a years funding to recruit a Project Officer.Secured funding to carry out a number of river restoration projects on the Witham.Delivered Riverfly and Eels in Classroom projects.Attended the county shows and undertook Work Party events with our volunteers.took a lead role in the steering group for the Catchment Based Approach.Hosted the Rivers Trust Spring Conference.

Encourages individuals and organisations to work in partnership to build stronger, safer and better communities - under the banners of Reaching People and CIP ( Communities in Partnership). Supports, involves and enables individuals, communities and organisations to influence and improve, planning and delivery of services. Provides services for the VCS to develop and improve.

Provision of synagogue services and daily lectures. Fund raising for local and international causes. Provision of loans and/or grants for the needy.

Activities include youth clubs, holiday projects, inclusive provision for young people with additional needs, music projects supporting young people and their development, and various classes. Facilities include a community cafe, music practice rooms and a recording studio. Community groups and events are also held within the halls. Working closely with volunteers, students, and youth members.

Raises funds and distributes to the poor and needy

Providing quality day care facility for children aged 3 months to 11 years, pre-school care, before/after school and holiday activities. Delivering parent & child group activities, creche and hosting volunteer groups. Hosting health service clinics for Health Visitors and Midwifery services. Providing and facilitating early years training and sensory room experiences for children and carers.

The charity is currently fundraising for the purpose of achieving its objective of establishing and maintaining a museum at Trent Park House.

Raise money to purchase equipment for Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover Hospitals that is outside the scope of NHS Budgets.

We provide professional and practical support to organisations working within the voluntary and community sector in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Dorset. We relieve poverty, distress and homelessness in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area by providing temporary accommodation and meals to the homeless during the coldest months of the year through a network of churches and community centres staffed by volunteers, and also welfare support, access to advice and services, help to move into longer-term accommodation and help to find work.

Established in 1994, we help create and maintain lookouts wherever possible around the UK coastline and train volunteer watchkeepers from all backgrounds to assist the users of leisure craft, fishermen, walkers and others as necessary, and help ensure their safety.

Home-Start Essex recruits and trains volunteers to offer, in families own homes, friendship, support and practical help to parents experiencing difficulties. The families must have at least one child under the age of five. Volunteers are managed by the scheme which in turn is supported by Home-Start UK. Home-Start Essex operates in the county of Essex.
