St peters Busy Bees Pre-school is based in Bearsted, Maidstone, Kent. The Pre-school registers children from the age of 2 years to school age. It is a charity run organisation and is run by a committee of parents with a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. Fundraising forms a major part of the Pre-school funds and these events are organised by the committee.

THE CHARITY PROMOTES BUDDHIST FAITH OF THE NEW KADAMPA TRADITION THROUGH FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: 1. PROVISION OF STUDY AND MEDITATION PROGRAMMES FOR BOTH BEGINNERS AND ADVANCED PRACTITIONERS. 2. PROMOTING THE PRACTICE OF MORAL DISCIPLINE. 3. PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION FOR PRACTITIONERS. 4. GENERAL FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY.

Gatwick TravelCare assists over 2000 passengers a year with travel related problems. These cover a wide range of issues including financial difficulties, missed flights, passport irregularities and mental health. The team of staff and volunteers also works with airlines, handling agents, consulates, embassies, social services and the police to provide passengers with the best possible service.

In-house fund raising

Care & early years education of children aged Two to Five years from the local and surrounding area of the setting. The charity raises funds form fund raising activities and makes applications for small grants to support the maintenance of the premises and provide quality resources for the children and families who access this service.

Open Door supports a homelessness night shelter and daytime drop-in for vulnerable people in St Albans. Set up in 1992, the charity aims to ensure that no-one needs to sleep rough in St Albans and generally to improve the life chances of homeless people. Our main activities are to raise funds, primarily from the local community, to support and improve the service and to promote volunteering.

To increase the understanding and enjoyment of painting and sculpture,2. to help create, in Norwich, an arts programme of national significance,3. fundraising to ensure financial security for collection exhibitions at Norwich Castle Galleries, and4. to support students through its education project including art workshops targeted at primary school children from deprived areas of Norwich.

Provides coordination for the WI in Buckinghamshire; advances the education of women and girls in important local and national political and social issues, music, drama and other cultural subjects, agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare; promotes sustainable development; advances health and advances citizenship by promoting civic responsibility and volunteering.

The charity works to provide humanitarian help and assistance both locally and internationally to alleviate suffering, and to help the needy. Members provide voluntary service and organise fund raising in order to achieve these objectives

Raising money for Local and International Charities

The Ted Ellis Trust maintains a nature reserve at Wheatfen Broad, Surlingham in the Yare Valley SSSI in Norfolk with extensive walks open to the public all year round. The Friends of the Trust organise fund raising events and run courses, mainly on natural history. The warden also leads guided walks and give talks.

Support the health services of Rugby by providing volunteers and by raising funds, for the benefit of the local community

Maidstone West Scout District seeks to promote the aims of Scouting within the West Maidstone and surrounding area. Scout Groups and Units within the District provide a balanced programme of activities to young people from 6 to 25 years of age. Activities are delivered by adult volunteers and are centred on promoting challenge, adventure and leadership to young people.

Provision of Community Centre for local use. The Centre is open 7 days a week and is used by various local community and voluntary sector groups. Rooms can be hired on an indivudual basis or the whole centre at once.

The purpose of The is to raise funds for, support and promote Valence School. Valence School is a Local Authority maintained Special Boarding and Day School for Children and Young People with Physical Disabilities Complex Medical Needs and Associated Learning Difficulties. The funds help provide for extra curricular activities, prizes and gifts for the students and capital projects for the school.

Provision of a Community Car Service (CCS) for the benefit of elderly and disadvantaged individuals in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas. Services include transport to and from medical & dental appointments, day centres, schools, activity centres and social inclusion projects.

The basic purpose and objective of the company are to raise funds on an ongoing basis in order to provide UK and foreign individuals and families with their daily requirements. It is expected that the amounts raised will on a yearly basis approximate the amounts paid as a result of efforts to raise money are based on the needs adjudged to be required on an ongoing basis.

We are a Voluntary Organisation that provides holidays aimed at creating inclusive and diverse friendships for all children, with and without disabilities, living throughout the Birmingham area. We are staffed entirely by volunteers. We arrange a series of holidays for groups of twenty (50% disabled) young people aged 8 to 16, in various age groups, during the summer holidays.
