The charity carries out fund raising events to run and maintain a Village Hall for the benefit of the local community. These include social events i.e. Quiz Nights, Children's events, Music Concerts, Bingo, etc., and larger events e.g. Rock Show, Wedding Fayres, Christmas Fayre etc. It's also hired out for a number of activities e.g. Bridge, Yoga, Toddlers Play, Choir, Yoga, private functions etc.

Fund raising events have included district led events such as Bag-packing, Christmas post, and the annual Pledge Plod. Social events have included the summer barbeque and carol service. Youngsters have enjoyed numerous activities at the HQ, at Rhydd Covert and on various trips to productions and events over the last year.

INVESTMENT FUND

The main aim of the charity is to raise funds to provide amenities and comforts for the benefit of patients and staff at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We provide furniture and curtains for the wards as well as help with the purchase of medical equipment and supporting outpatient waiting areas.

We have 3 projects - JNR8, for under 12's ;-holiday playscheme activities, weekly cookery and craft activities. - WHIZ ,for over 13's,group work e.g. gang awareness, cookery, life skills, girls night,holiday activities. -Celebrate, schools workshops, festival day.;volunteering, community information and networking, intergenerational activities, e.g.arts crafts, information and music.

Holgate Pre-School provides early years education for under 5s. It operates every week day in term time, for a maximum of 24 children. The pre-school is popular in the local community and there is a waiting list for new starters. The organisation is run by a committee of, mainly, parent volunteers.

Raise funds to support education and activities of the children of Eleanor Palmer School.

We work with small groups of vulnerable adults, including learning disabled, autistic, ex-offenders and those with mental health problems. We care for 5 acres of woodland, hedges and meadow and grow herb and wildflower plants to sell. We also produce an increasing number of our own preserves, cards, jewellery and gifts. We regularly open to the public and also welcome visitors and volunteers.

Acts as an umbrella organisation for local groups to use the building for their activities. All ages are catered for, from babies and toddlers to over-eighties. The charity has an equal opportunities policy and people of all races and cultures use the facility. As well as classes, the building is used for birthday parties, wedding receptions and meetings.

Pool hire, School Fayres / general activities to raise funds for the school and pool

Rotary is a social and philanthropic organisation operating internationally. Local branches such as Congleton meet regularly socially and also organize various events locally to raise money for various charities. Funds raised are distributed to mainly local charities (approx 70%) & some national and international in response to foreign disaster appeals.

To advance the education of pupils at Roundwood Primary School by fundraising to provide facilities and items for education not provided from statutory funds.

The main activity of the charity is to raise funds for the support of the Community Care Centre by means of our charity shop and organising social events, attending fetes etc which help our funds and gain publicity.

The Friends of John Ball School brings children, teachers, parents and carers within the school community together to raise funds for educational and enrichment activities. Events are held during the school year to build the community within the school and to raise funds to the benefit of all the children within the school.

The Chiswick Choir, an amateur choir registered with the National Federation of Music Societies, has presented concerts in Chiswick for more than 20 years. The Choir performs three concerts each year, concentrating particularly on the Baroque period and the 20th century. The Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings in Chiswick. Social and fund raising events are held throughout the year.

Volunteers in Girlguiding Lincolnshire South work with young people from the age of 4. Together they work through times of adventure, fun activities and well being to develop into independent, caring, team working individuals ready to face what the world holds for them.

Raising funds for the construction of a Scout Community Centre, to replace the old Scout Hut which became unsafe and had to be demolished in 2022.

Also have other services like -Managing Your Money programme, Women Group workshops, Enhance Education (ESOL combines with Sewing Class on Tuesdays, Volunteering programme to provide skills and experience for young and employed, Supplementary school on Fridays.

General fundraising activities inc Fireworks night, uniform sales, theatre trips, discos etc to raise funds to enhance & support the learning for pupils of Owlsmoor Primary School.

Holy Trinity Pre-School exists to provide affordable childcare and education for parents and carers in the local community. To this end we provide ten sessions of childcare each day, and involve parents and the local community in our management, decision-making and fund-raising efforts.
