Thurrock Council for Voluntary Service TCVS is the Local Infrastructure Organisation (LIO) for the local voluntary and community sector organisations. TCVS provides resources, advice, support and information, training and networking opportunities to VCS in Thurrock. Raises funds to distribute to agencies providing services to Jewish children in need of special care in the UK and Israel. Provides equipment of all kinds and supports specific projects for children who are blind, deaf, mentally or physically disabled, orphaned, neglected, deprived, abused, refugee or in need of medical care.

PVCSE (our common name being POP+) is Plymouth's infrastructure and co-ordinating body for the voluntary and community sector. Elisha House provides supported living accommodation to 31 males in recovery from substance or alcohol misuse. We work according to the 12 steps recovery programme and five ways to wellbeing. We have a strong community ethos and an extensive timetable. We provide volunteering opportunities in our community gardening project and community cafe. We offer hope that recovery is possible.

The Charity was established on 1st January 1940 to provide information, advice and assistance to the community of Maidstone Borough and surrounding areas. Forest Voluntary Action Forum is the volunteering and voluntary sector support and development agency for the Forest of Dean district in West Gloucestershire. We provide advice, information, training, office services, volunteer brokerage, networking opportunities and also advocate for / represent the sector both locally and across the County. We also undertake a variety of local community projects

Coram Beanstalk works with schools to provide the highest quality and best value one-to-one support. We provide trained reading helpers who give consistent and bespoke support to children enabling them to develop to confident reading skills. Our vision is that "all children and young people will have the essential skills they need to grow up and lead successful lives".

The British Youth Council, the national youth council of the UK, aims to empower young people, aged 25 and under, to have a say and be heard in the UK and overseas. This is through a programme of education, research, training, volunteering, representation and advocacy opportunities. The charity is membership based & exclusively youth-led. It was formerly registered no. 305973 until 31 March 2009.

The objectives of the charity are to provide a Museum and library and raise funds for future development so as to educate the public and members of the Regiment in its history and traditions. It is also to conserve and care for the nationally designated collection

Our Mission Statement states that "SVS aims to support a vibrant voluntary and community sector with a strong voice and the best of support. SVS actively promotes voluntary action and the provision of essential services to vulnerable communities."

The association is dependent upon voluntary help in advocating high technical standards for theatres, publications, meetings, conferences, post-entry training, volunteer technical committees, visits, liaison with government and other organisations, research demonstrations, exhibitions, the provision of information and the exchange of ideas and address issues about theatre planning and safety.
