THE CHARITY WORKS THROUGH THE ARTS TO RAISES FUNDS TO TAKE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS ONTO GYPSY, ROMA AND TRAVELLER SITES AND INTO GORJER AND 'COUNTRY-FOLK' COMMUNITIES ACROSS WALES.

Charity Objects:=============The relief of learning disabled people in Basingstoke through the provision of employment, volunteering and development opportunities and the operation of a cafe in an effort to build their self-esteem, skills, independence and integrate them into mainstream employment.

The principal objective of the charity is to promote the benefit of the community, particularly but not exclusively persons of Irish descent within the London Borough of Lewisham. To this end we provide premises, staff and volunteers for the following services:Advice and Advocacy services, Children and youth services , volunteer programme , clubs, classes and social events.

Volunteering advice and support, Volunteering good practice development, Project delivery.

Provides Independent Living services to disabled Londoners aged 16+. ADVOCACY-supporting disabled person to obtain his/her rights. VOLUNTEERING-supports disabled people with befriending, escorting etc. TRAINING & EMPLOYMENT-train disabled people as advocates. Production of e-news to aid employability of disabled people. ACTIVE LIFESTYLE-volunteers support disabled people with sport activities.

Linking refugees and asylum seekers with local volunteers who assist them to make friends and connections (Welcome and Connect), to learn English (English at Home), to find respite from destitution (Hosting & Housing, Hardship Fund). We also run and update helpinleeds.com, newtoleeds.org and migrationpartnership.org.uk

We are a full day care nursery in Basildon for 3 months to 5 year olds. We continue to fund raise for the group to buy new toys and equipment.

We have completed the restoration of Scruton and Leeming Bar Station building. We have donated to assist in the restoration of Bedale signal box, which is a listed building of heritage interest. We have spent money on in-house training and specialised training courses for volunteers. We are involving the Trust in contacts with schools, through two specific projects.

Promotes, encourages and supports individuals, groups and organisations within the voluntary and community sector, to enable them to meet the needs and aspirations of communities within North East Lincolnshire.

Kol Bonaich supports young people affected by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), trauma, homelessness, suicidal & mental health challenges, including at-risk NEET teens. We provide trauma-informed care, life skills training, employment & volunteering opportunities, social, sport & recreational activities, free nutritious meals, and Shabbat programs to foster resilience and societal integration.

(a) providing information and advice about local health & social care services (HSC);(b) making views & experiences of members of the public known to health and social care providers;(c) enabling local people to have a voice in the development, delivery of local health and care services & facilities and;(d) training and development of skills for volunteers and community in monitoring HSC

Restoration, preservation and display of the 'SS Robin' steamship built in 1890 as a publically accessible London based maritime museum . Developing links with partner organisations, local schools and colleges for education and exhibition programmes. Fundraising, including major grant applications to Heritage Lottery Fund.

CNet is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation supporting Voluntary and Community Sector groups and organisations across Bradford and District since 2001. Our key areas of work include: ~ Community development and engagement ~ Facilitation and management of grant programmes ~ Social Research ~ Partnership and network development and support ~ Event management

Activities include worship, pastoral work in the community, engagement with local school providing baptisms, marriages and funerals for the local community, maintaining local church buildings and churchyard. Through social and outreach activities we also raise funds to continue our work and maintain our buildings and churchyards. We operate from our 17 church buildings and 5 clergy parsonages.

To recruit and train volunteers to provide a home visiting service to families in dificulty where there is a child under 5 years old

Jubilee Foodbank Market Harborough provides food parcels and access to food for people in Market Harborough and the surrounding area when they are unable to access food themselves. People are referred to Jubilee Foodbank Market Harborough by reputable organisations such as Citizen's Advice. Volunteers deliver food parcels to referral agencies.

To advance the education of the public by the promotion and support of the charitable activities of Beamish the North of England Open Air Museum. In furtherance of these objects the Friends undertake restoration work, and generally encourage interest in the history of the region and the work of the Museum. In 2008 the Friends contributed approximately 8,500 volunteer hours in these activities.

To provide Drop In type Centres and a care farm throughout Suffolk, whereby vulnerable people can come and have coffee, learn crafts and generally meet friends in a friendly environment. Also we provide registered Volunteer Befrienders to vulnerable adults formingbefriending links, and training opportunities that TBS provides through a structured programme of activities and events.

WCGM will run activities, events and learning opportunities for the whole community that promote and support the development of skills, knowledge and confidence in chemical free food growing and healthy eating. School visits, work experience placements for unemployed, volunteering and well-being activities will be delivered from our Community Garden and Market Garden sites in Dane Valley, Margate.
