Charity and VCS support Charities

Church services are on Sundays at 11am (although during the Coronavirus crisis, we are holding services online at 3pm instead). We hold coffee mornings, open days, meditation sessions, and social events to raise awareness of Unitarianism and to raise funds. The church also fundraises through its charity shop on Hall Gate. We support a number of local organisations to help vulnerable communities.

Fund raising for Headcorn Primary School

Hire the hall for local meetings of church groups, 7th Headington Brownies, local nursery, exercise classes, ballet & modern dance classes, musical rehearsals, activities including book clubs, children and family parties, wedding receptions, baptism celebrations, plus fundraising events, i.e. local craft markets, quiz and musical evenings, support for other fundraising events, e.g. Parkinsons UK

BIOS UK Associates raises funds to support the research and education programmes at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. The research encompasses all areas of oceanography, from macro climate studies to microscopic genetic studies. The UK Associates make grants to exceptional UK students who wish to study at BIOS in Bermuda, in a range of different academic programme options.

Local organisations use the facilities for fund raising-raising events,meetings,etc.and the Town Council uses the building to provide services to the community.The facilities are also used for parties,receptions,music rehearsals,drama classes,lectures and continues to be used as a venue for children's birthday parties.

To raise funds to support the education and enhance the social life of the pupils of Priestley Smith. To act as a conduit for donations and gifts of equipment to benefit the pupils.

We provide girls from the age of 4 to 18 a safe girl only space to develop skills and self confidence to take them into the adult world. They are led by volunteer leaders who allow the girls as much self governance as is practicable for their age.

The charity consists of a Parents Association for Moor Hall Primary School which is situated in Four Oaks in Sutton Coldfield. The Parents Association carry out fund raising activities on behalf of the school which are to raise money to be spent on projects to enhance the children's education.

Provision of a Village Hall for the use of Village Residents and external hirers; for example, PreSchool Group, Youth Club, various recreational clubs. In addition, events for residents of the village and private functions. Fundraising activities to support the maintenance and running of the Village Hall include a Summer Fair.

Fund-raising in order to make grants for additional facilities or services in respect of Holy Cross Hospital, Haslemere.

Cumnor School Association raises money for use in the school. Fund-raising activities include a Christmas Bazaar and a Summer Fete and Barbecue. The money is used to buy a variety of equipment for the school in each key stage.

The charity operates only in the parish of Cheddington. One-third of its income goes to the parish church to be used for maintenance. Grants are made from the remaining income to village organisations, students, volunteer drivers for hospital visits and individuals undergoing particular hardship.

We raise money by holding both social and fundraising events at our school. The money we raise goes towards classroom and playground equipment. The main items purchased this year were technology for the school. Contributions are also made towards shortfalls on school trips, year 6 leavers bible, literacysupport and arts & crafts for school.

The Rattery Village Hall provides a focal point for village life, giving local groups opportunities to make use of an excellent facility to meet and fundraise.

Fund raising for Hadley Wood School

The purpose of the charity is to raise funds for the poor and needy and to provide relief by giving service in the form of help and support to the local community and to a certain extent nationally and internationally.
