We offer support to families living in the Borough of Elmbridge in Surrey who have a child under 5 years old. Most families are referred to us by health visitors or social workers. Support is usually provided by weekly two-hour visits from a volunteer and the type of support will be decided upon by the family in consultation with the volunteer.

Youth Facility providing a range of activities and opportunities for young people which include Gymnastics, Trampolining, Sports Projects, Volunteering opportunities. Accredited training for volunteers, including young people.

The Olton Project delivers a wide variety of services to the public holding lessons that educate people about heritage, religion, languages and the future education of children within our community. TOP holds weekly coffee mornings, educational excursions and monthly movie nights among other events. TOP works closely with other charities to relieve poverty by holding events to raise money.

Family Friends' objectives are the relief of children and parents in despair and distress and the prevention of emotional and physical abuse of such children. The aims of the charity are to give long-term practical and emotional support to parents and children in need through trained volunteers.

LEAH works with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants who are socially isolated due to their lack of English language. Our volunteer-led service provides one to one English language tuition face to face or online; small group classes in the community or online; trips and social activities; health and well being support; and education, employment and volunteering progression support

The Jurassic Coast Trust's role is to protect and conserve the Dorset & East Devon Coast World Heritage Site for current and future generations, and to enable the World Heritage Status to be of benefit to people. We do this through engagement, learning, advocacy, community development, skills promotion and volunteering. We are the only organisation who's sole role it is to look after this Site.

Planning & raising funds to establish an Emmaus Community in Bradford in accordance with Emmaus UK guidelines. This would provide accommodation for formerly homeless individuals in return for them gaining meaningful employment within the Community.The charity will also be concerned with the provision of education & employment training for these individuals.

Tanzania Development Trust supports grassroots communities in particularly under developed regions of Tanzania with access to clean water, girls education, and income generation. We work with our volunteers in Tanzania to build stronger communities in rural Tanzania.

Volunteers/staff provide:1) practical support/financial assistance to vulnerable persons/families in partnership with social services/other charities.2) events/social networks in local communities to contribute to community cohesion, empower creative expression and stimulate faith and hope amongst every generation.

Home-Start Oxford offers support, friendship, and practical help to families with a child under five, and particularly families who are vulnerable, isolated, under stress, often with complex needs, through home visiting by trained volunteers and other services.The charity's purpose is to help children by supporting parents to grow in confidence and give their children a good start in life.

Holds annual Agricultural Show and several fund raising events

The advancement of education for children and young people in areas which lack quality teachers, both in poverty affected countries and among displaced and migrant populations, by training volunteer teachers to work in schools and communities with the aim of creating employment opportunities and increasing the skill base of unemployed young people and enhancing educational provision for children

Main activity is fund raising to finance deserving medical students in Pakistan. The usual main event is the FAMS Annual Dinner.However thorughout the year donations do come in small amounts. Appeal for donations are also made through media

ACTION AGAINST AGE RELATED MACULAR DEGENERATION ('AAAMD') WILL FACILITATE FUND RAISING FOR BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INTO THE TREATMENT OF AMD AND BE A DATA SOURCE OF RELATED INFORMATION. AAAMD IS AN EQUAL COLLABORATION BETWEEN BLIND VETERANS UK, FIGHT FOR SIGHT, MACULAR SOCIETY AND THE SCOTTISH WAR BLINDED. THE EXISTING CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OF THE FOUNDERS WILL CONTINUE ALONGSIDE AAAMD.

PPCA manages the Pells open-air swimming pool in Lewes on behalf of the community; the oldest, public, open-air, freshwater swimming pool in continuous use in the UK . Built in 1860, the pool opens from late April to late November and measures 25 x 50 yards. It is much appreciated and well supported by the community. The charity raises funds to renovate and improve pool equipment and facilities.

AMEN raises money to support specifically Christian ministries,most of which are holistic in nature. All those supported work in their own countries and are personally known to the founder of AMEN or one of the AMEN Trustees. Currently we have partners in India, Nigeria, the Philippines, Romania and Serbia.

We support the development of voluntary and community organisations in South Gloucestershire. We encourage networking and partnership building to share information, skills and knowledge. We provide training and fundraising advice and support the governance of our members. We enable representation of the sector to ensure their views are taken into account.
