Care for the Family's aim is to strengthen and support family life. We provide relationship education and support in three key areas: marriage, parenting and bereavement. Activities include day and evening events, activity holidays and residential breaks, marriage and parenting courses, volunteer telephone befrienders, and books, DVDs and other resources to strengthen family life.

Northumbria Students' Union is a membership organisation comprising of all the the registered students of Northumbria University. Our principal purpose is to represent the interests of our students and to further their education. In addition we provide opportunities for personal development through volunteering and undertake mutual trading for the benefit of our members.

City of Trees is a community forest organisation for Greater Manchester, working with volunteers and an ever-growing network of individuals, communities, businesses and organisations to plant trees and look after trees across the GM region. Promoting a tree culture with activities to boost health & wellbeing, enhance learning and green skills and tackle the climate and biodiversity emergency.

Runs a hospice in Thornton near Liverpool to care for terminally-ill people and raises money to support and sustain it.

The aim of the Foundation is to attract income from a wide range of sources (private sector donations from individuals and companies, management of local and central government funding streams, profits on fundraising events etc). This is then made available to local charities and voluntary & community groups by way of an open grants programme(s).

Sussex Community Foundation:1. Raises funds to improve quality of life in East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove2. Provides services for people and companies wishing to donate to their local community3. Is building a permanent capital fund for good causes across Sussex4. Gives grants to charities and community groups in East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove

Provides national coordination for the WI organisation; advances the education of women and girls in important local and national political and social issues, music, drama and other cultural subjects, agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare; promotes sustainable development; advances health and advances citizenship by promoting civic responsibility and volunteering.

Supported housing services, including one residential care home. Community services offering groups and courses which include for example, anger and anxiety management, promoting self esteem, empowerment and recovery. A volunteer counselling service. All activities aim to improve the emotional and mental health of the people of Suffolk.

Crossroads Care Kent supports Carers to make a life of their own outside caring, by providing quality services offering peace of mind, whilst enabling them to take time for themselves. Our services include respite care, urgent care, overnight care, counselling and cover for Carers healt appointments and volunteer support. We provide clubs and activities for Young Carers.

To provide facilities for the education of children at Sevenoaks School by raising funds to support new building projects and the widening of access by the award of bursaries.

CVQO is accredited by Pearson, City & Guilds and the Institute of Leadership and Management to deliver a wide range of vocational qualifications including the BTEC Level 1, 2 and 3 Diplomas in Teamwork, & Personal Development and Music and up to the equivalent of a Level 7 City & Guilds Membership Master's Level Degree for youth and Adult Instructors in schools and the voluntary sector.

We are dedicated to promoting philanthropy and strengthening local communities by awarding grants to high-impact grassroots projects across Wales. We provide a grant-making and fund management service for a range of donor Fund holders: people and organisations who recognise the value of our philanthropy services in stewarding their charitable giving and maximizing its impact and legacy.

Winchester Science Centre is an educational charity with a mission to build science capital for all, particularly children. Through the Science Centre (home to the UK's largest standalone planetarium) and an extensive schools, industry and community outreach/volunteer programme the charity works to spark curiosity and widen access and participation in science, technology, engineering and maths.

Local infrastructre organisation providing a range of services to voluntary and community organisations, including training, specialist advice (including legal, HR, volunteering, ICT) accountancy, payroll, supporting partnership working and accommodation (office, training and meeting facilities).

THE MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY INCLUDE RAISING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING RELIEF TO THE ORPHANS, EDUCATION, DISABILITIES, DISASTER AND CALAMITIES (Rescue, Relief and Rehabilitation), CLEAN DRINKING WATER, WIDOWS EMPOWERMENT,HEALTHCARE, AND PROJECTS SUSTAINABILITY.

Lancashire Women's Centres offer support in a non-judgemental, confidential and safe environment. Services include complex casework, mental health interventions, money, benefit and debt advice, training, mentoring and volunteering opportunities. We are open to all women but have specific focus on those with mental health needs and those with an offending history. We have 5 bases in Lancashire.
