Ladybirds aim is enhance the education of children below compulsory school age in the Parish of Ticehurst by providing safe and satisfying group play in which the parents have the right to take part and by encouraging other activities through which parents may help their children. Founded in 1963 Fiveways Playcentre follows a lively pre-school curriculum with additional daycare and an After-Schools Club. The charity aims to encourage and enhance the development and education of children primarily under school age.

We are primarily an administrative body overseeing the activities of 13 churches including 2 LEPs and 1 shared church which provide worship opportunities, youth/luncheon clubs, pastoral care/support for local charities. Church premises are used by the community and third-party organisations e.g. uniformed organisations, playgroups, NCT, dance schools etc.

Smiley Face provides good quality care and education for children aged 3 months to five years, it is based next to Amesbury C of E Primary School in Amesbury.

Balderton Pre-school offers affordable sessional and full day care for pre-school children. We create a stimulating environment with lots of opportunities for learning through play. We also run 'Acorns Out of School Club' which includes a breakfast, after school & holiday club that caters for 2 to 11 year olds, where we provide a wide variety of child led fun activities.

The Charity operates in the Narberth area, for approximately a 10 mile radius. There is a programme of community education classes, a bus, a day nursery, an After School Club, a Welsh medium playschool and toddlers group, a day care centre for the elderly, a community hall, seminar room and a coffee lounge. There are Sports facilities and meeting rooms for local clubs and societies.
