Childcare Charities

Three Acres provide play and recreational activities for children aged between 5 and 12 years of age. Services include breakfast club, after school club and holiday play schemes. Play activities are child lead while developing empowerment, choice, participation and equal opportunity.

The preschool is open Monday to Friday for children aged 2 to 5 years of age and delivers activities in line with the Early Years Prospectus.

Regular public worship for all. Provision of sacred space for personal prayer & contemplation.Pastoral work eg visiting the sick & bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Religious schools assemblies.Young peoples meetings and Pre-school with a Christian ethos. Activities for senior citizens, parent & toddlers. Supporting other charities in the UK & overseas.

The provision of a first-class childcare and nursery facility, for children aged 3 months to 5 years old in the Reading area. By charging a competitive fee, we hope to make this facility available to parents and children who would not normally have access to nursery education.

Founded in 1971, The Wonder Years is a non-profit making educational & childcare charity run by a committee of volunteers, Ofsted registered and affiliated to the PSLA. Committed to providing quality experiences for children aged from 0-11 years, within a learning and play environment which is welcoming as well as being safe, organised and purposeful, providing equality of opportunity for all.

Nursery childcare provision for 2 - 5 year olds

To enhance the development and education of children by offering appropriate play facilities and training courses and encourage parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.

We host a mother and toddler group, a pre-school, 3 senior and 1 junior football team, social and team skittles, shortmat bowls, darts teams, snooker teams, a whist and bridge club, bingo, oap's group. We subsidise twice weekly lunches, we host functions, organise coach trips, children's Christmas party, monthly police surgeries and legal advice, occassional MP's surgeries and a polling station.

Milton Village Community Association provides social and recreational facilities for local residents and friends at its premises known as Milton Village Hall. For example, activities such as keep fit classes, toddler groups, oap senior clubs etc. We also offer the hall as a private hire venue for people to hold children's parties. We also arrange social functions including outings and holidays.

Pre school for children generally within the NR2 area of Norwich.

Early years provision for 2-4 year olds whose principle activities are to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by offering appropriate play facilities, encouraging the study of the needs of such children, promoting interest in the recognition of such needs locally and instigating and adhering to and furthering the aim of the pre-school Playgroup Association.

Care and education of Pre-school children, while offering flexible childcare for parents who wish to work/train, or just for their children to mix with others.

Mount Elim Evangelical Church undertakes the following religious activities and services to the local community: - Sunday services (morning & evening)- Sunday school (during morning service)- Weekly Bible study meetings for ladies & men's groups- Weekly meeting for Bible teachings & prayer- Weekly mother and toddler group- Visiting the local community e.g. nursing homes, hospitals etc

We provide sessional care for children aged 2 - 5 years giving them an opportunity to develop in a stimulating environment and preparing them for full time education.

Pre-school providing education and care for the under fives

Volunteer support for families with pre-school children living in the Erdington/Stockland Green area of Birmingham. Families are referred to Home-Start by Health Visitors, Midwives, Social Workers,etc., with the families consent. Volunteers visit families in the families own home for a few hours per week. All volunteers attend a preparation course and have an enhanced criminal record bureau check.

The Kennington Association exists to further the health and wellbeing of the people of Kennington and to improve the local environment. Through the management and development of Lollard Street Adventure Playground it serves to provide children and young people of the area with free and adventurous play in a safe environment as well as an inclusive sports project for all the community.
