The Village Hall is a facility to be used by the community of Mapplewell and Staincross and surrounding villages. The main activities include health, educational and recreational classes, sport and training events, meetings, conferences and private functions. We also have five offices occupied by local organisations, a library and PLA day nursery. Catering is provided for social & business events.

The main activities of the charity are the carrying on of a pre school, out of hours club and holiday club for boys and girls and the doing of all such other things as are incidental or conductive to the attainment of that object.

Portishead Pre-School (formerly Portishead Playgroups) consists of two fantastic pre-school settings; Hilltop Pre-Schooland Brampton Pre-School, situated in the town of Portishead, North Somerset. In 2014, Portishead Pre-School celebrated its 50th year of providing excellent pre-school education to the children of Portishead.

Regular public worship, pastoral work, teaching of Christianity, work in local schools, Christian orientated activities for children and young people, Christian-based nursery school, promoting the whole mission of the Church through groups for e.g. Christian Music and mothers and supporting other Christian charities in the UK and overseas.

English language lessons.Parent and Toddler group with language and social development activities.Child development and nutrition advice (with local health centre).Medical support via NHS repDrop-in advice (in a number of CEE languages) on issues including housing, school places, health, finance, benefits, hate crime reporting and workplace discrimination.Work experience placements

Provide opportunities for safe supervised play to children under the age of 18 years in the form of open access play, childcare, parent and toddlers, adventure playground and multi sports pitch

Provide day care for children from the age of two to school age within Ashton Vale community. Operates in accordance with OFSTED and other regulatory offices and provides a curriculum based on the early years foundation stage.

Little Elms provides Pre-School Education to Elmswell and surrounding villages.

The aim of Dothill Pre-School & Childcare is to enhance the development and education of children aged 2-11 years, offering fun and stimulating activities through a nurturing and caring environment. Children are inspired through developmentally appropriate play facilities. All children attending the setting are offered opportunities whatever their race, gender, culture, religion, means or ability.

The Charity exists to advance the education of children below the compulsory school age by providing play in a safe and secure environment. It aims to ensure to the best of its ability that excellent facilities and pre-school education are provided to each child who attends the nursery

The pre-school provides childcare and education (Early years) to children aged between 2 and 5 years of age in the local community. We are registered by OFSTED (123649) and have achieved an OFSTED report of 'Outstanding' in March 2020. We support children and their parents/carers regardless of their race, culture, religion, means or ability.

We are children's day nursery and operate in a local community. We offer care and education to children under 5 years old

Our Pre-School provides quality sessional care for children aged 2 years to school admission age. The team provides a warm, caring, happy and stimulating environment to enable the children to learn, develop, explore and have fun! We follow a structured routine in which children can feel settled with the security of knowing what to expect throughout the session.

TO PROVIDE A SAFE LEARNING AND CARING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 TO 11. THE SETTING OPERATES ON A TERM TIME BASIS BETWEEN 7.30AM AND 6PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY. THE SETTING IS NOT OPEN IN THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. WE PROVIDE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS FOR CHILDREN FROM THREE LOCAL SCHOOL AND OFFER A PICK UP SERVICE. WE PROVIDE AN INCLUSIVE PROVISION FOR ALL.

Enhancement of the childrens development and education primarily under the statutory school age by allowing them to experience a wide range of activities both adult led and child led. Parents encouraged to become involved in their child's education. Activities take place in a fun, safe, stimulating child based building.
