Pre-School facility for children in the Sturminster Marshall area for children age 9 months to 4 years 11 months, especially those expected to attend Sturminster Marshall First School.

Pk was created to offer pre-school childcare to all children. This objective fits well with the Mission of Grayshott Primary School, which is to make "children the centre of a learning community. The majority of our children live within the catchment area of and go on to attend Grayshott Primary School

Pre-school

With have regard to the, Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Guidance 2021 & SEND code of practice updated may 2015; we provide high quality education and care for all children, that is integrated, attractive and affordable to all families. Sensitive to differing educational need, working in a child and family centered way. 5 days P/W, 45 weeks P/Y - sessions from between 8.30am - 5.00pm.

Provision of pre-school childcare for children between 2 to 5 years of age. Open daily during term time. Morning, afternoon and full day sessions available. Working to Ofsted guidelines. Providing human resources, building/facilities/open space and services.

Pre School

The playgroup offers a childcare service to all the local community . We encourage parents to take part in activities such as family days, play days and annual trips. We hold fund raising events such as raffles at Easter and Christmas, themed discos, and quiz nights to raise money to buy equipment to enhance the learning and experiences of the children.

Montacute Pre-School provides high quality care and education through play to children aged from 2 years to school age.The Pre-School follows the early years/foundation stage curriculum as stipulated by Ofsted and accepts children in receipt of Early Years Entitlement.

Village Pre-School

We provide pre school education for children aged 2 years old to school age.

Provision of a facility to assist and enable development and education for pre-school children for the village of North Somercotes and surrounding areas and to provide after-school and holiday club facilities for children up to the age of 11.

Trelowan Preschool provides early years care and education for children aged two to five years old.

Provides horticultural training and work experience for people with learning disabilities.

CHILD CARE AT PRE-SCHOOL LEVEL AGES TWO TO SCHOOL AGE. ENABLING CHILDERN TO LEARN THROUGH PLAY.

The charity offers education through play for children from the age of 2 onwards. It is open from 8am to 5:30pm daily during term time and offers holiday clubs during school holidays for children up to 10 years.

We provide care for children between the ages of 2-5 years. We aim to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age. We are registered with the local authority and take funded children from 2 years of age. The Pavilion Playschool gained Outstanding from Ofsted when inspected in 2015.

We offer high quality, challenging learning opportunities for up to 26 local children aged 2-4. We do this by providing a term time playgroup offering five weekday sessions 9.15am-1.15pm, with up to three extended day sessions running to 3.15pm. At least two, and up to four places are allocated to families on low incomes at a rate they can afford.

The Committee provides and upkeeps the hall and playing field which acts as a centre point for the village. Various clubs - cricket, football, table tennis and bowls are very popular, with youth teams being encouraged. Children are provided with a safe play area with picnic tables.

PROVIDE PRESCHOOL SERVICE

The pre-school continues to provide excellent pre-school education to the under 5's in the village and surrounding areas. We offer sessions on a daily basis with full day sessions being available 5 days a week. We offer 2 year old funding places and 3 and 4 year olds and we provide the 30hrs places. Fundraising is maintained and still is continuing success.
