Childcare Charities

The park contains a range of facilities for visitors and users including grass sport football and cricket (grass and sytnthtic). Multi Use Games Area, large children's Play Area, fishing pools, Youth Shelter, community pavilion, outdoor gym equipment, historical features, and network of footpaths for walking. The park friends group organises a range of activites/events throughout the year.

Provision of pre-school care and education from the age of 2 years.

We are a small charity run playgroup. We supply care education and fun for 2-5 year olds. we are based in rawthorpe infants and nursery school..

The principal object of the charity is to enhance the development and education of children primarily below compulsory school age in Great Massingham and the surrounding area. This is achieved through the operation of a preschool.

Parent teacher and friends association. To raise funds for use by Highfield Infants' School and Highfield Junior School for the benefit of the children.

Rural committee run pre-school offering childcare between 8.50 am and 3.00 pm. Extended hours are available. Aim is to deliver quality affordable care giving children a sound foundation to learn from. Play approach benefits all in their learning no matter what their individual abilities. Aspire to give skills for the rest of their lives and in future be positive contributors to society.

Activities run for the benefit of the local community. Facilities available to hire for use by community groups, e.g. Pre-school, uniform groups, performing arts groups, WI, Dance groups(children and adult). Rooms available for hire by individuals for parties/charity events etc.

VILLAGE HALL INCLUDING 1 LARGE HALL AND 1 SMALLER HALL WHICH CAN BE PARTITIONED AS 2 SMALLER ROOMS. WEST BERGHOLT SOCIAL CLUB HOLD A PREMISES LICENCE TO USE HALF OF THE BUILDING ON EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS, THE SOCIAL CLUB ROOM IS ALSO AVAILABLE TO HIRE DURING THE DAY FROM THE TRUST. THE HALLS ARE LET TO LOCAL AND NON LOCAL RESIDENTS FOR FUNCTIONS, CLUBS, PLAY GROUP ETC.

Uses the income from the village car park to provide and maintain two village halls, childrens playground, village gardens, benches for the public and general beautification of the village and related coastal area.

Presenting the Christian Faith to children and young people in schools in north and central Bedfordshire. This is done by invitation from the schools, through assemblies/lessons - R.E. & PHSE/lunchtime and after school clubs/self-esteem sessions/mentoring and special projects such as: Creative Prayer, Live Nativity, Easter Experience, Godly Play, Prayer Spaces and Life Path.

Pre school playgroup

We provide facilities and open spaces for public use and hire. We are situated in the South Downs National Park.The amenities comprise a fully refurbished Village Hall, a playground operated by the Parish Council, kick about soccer pitch, basketball practice area and a 7 acre field for walking and recreation.

PRESCHOOL FOR 2.5-4 YEAR OLDS

Carpet Bowling, Bingo, Parties, Social Club and Hire of Hall to various groups e.g. Sure Start, Zumba, Pilates, Drama Groups, Baby and Toddler Groups.

EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AGE 2 TO 5 YEARS.

Community enrichment through fun and fundraising.Providing events, activities and projects for the community to enjoy whilst raising additional funds for resources, equipment and activities for all children not covered by the school budget.

The charity manages Great Brickhill Parish Hall facilities for the use and benefit of both individual and groups of residents from Great Brickhill and the surrounding area. The Hall is used by a Pre-School Group on a daily basis and by an outreach Post Office once a week. It is used also for a wide variety of sports and social activities on a regular weekly basis.

Lostwithiel Preschool, Baby & Toddler Group is run by a managment committee of parents and affiliates in Lostwithiel. The aim of the preschool is to enhance the development and education of children under school age in a community group setting.We hold a Baby and Toddler group once a week at which we welcome parents and their children to enjoy a range of activities and meet similar aged children.

The playgroup provides early learning facilities to children from 3 to 5 years of age in line with the new foundation phase.

Use of hall for village activities, including PCC meetings, mother & toddler, nursery & pre-school, pilates, yoga, karate, flower show, history club, cafe, parties, dog shows, weddings, film shows and country fair.

Pre-School for children aged from 2 years to school age

To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.

Provides help, advice, playgroups, holiday scheme for people of all ages with learning disabilities and their parents/carers

The Chudleigh Community Project's objectives are to provide community facilities within the Parish of Chudleigh through managing the dual use of the community/school hall out of school hours and managing the outdoor community swimming pool. The Chudleigh Community Project also promotes the Devon based 'Villages in Action' arts and drama events throughout the year.
