The Charity's main area of work continues to be running the school and providing a variety of clubs and after school activities to local disadvantaged young people.Trustees and staff remain committed to helping children develop their skills and character so that they mature into well-adjusted, capable citizens.

To provide high quality affordable childcare to the local community, supporting those parents who wish to either return to work or continue with their education.

Pre-school education

The charity operates in the Derwent, Mackworth and Normanton areas of Derby and aims to support families in a holistic way. Our Nursery settings support paying customers, adult learners and those eligible for the Free Early Education Entitlement. Learners can access children's workforce training from traineeships to Level 3 apprenticeship qualifications.

To further such charitable purposes for the benefit of the inhabitants in and around the community of Tamworth as the Trustees think fit. In furtherance of the primary objective the charity undertakes the following: Child Day Care Nursery, Counselling Service, Mental Health Courses, Vulnerable Elderly Support Group, Tamworth Foodbank, Community Drop in Centre, Youth and Childrens Clubs

We are fortunate to have large spacious premises where children have ample space to play and explore. We have a permanently equipped classroom with high quality of facilities for all children. We have the opportunity to play outside all year round and have extensive resources and equipment to vary and maintain the interests of our children so that they develop in all areas of the curriculum

The principal activity of the charity is the provision of childcare services primarily under statutory school age.

The company's object and prinicpal activity is to provide a day nursery and after school service for the safe care of infants and children.

The charity provides respite for parents and carers who have young people with special needs in there care, also ensures a safe and heppy environment for after school clubs and evening entertainment for young people with special needs.

To provide a caring environment where high quality play and education are used to stimulate and encourage the intellectual, physical and emotional development of the pre-school children of the officers, staff and students of Bristol University or of other persons.

To advance education and provide facilities for social, recreational and creative leisure time opportunities for the people of Portsmouth, particularly in the area known as Portsea. To this end the charity runs the John Pounds Centre, providing sports and leisure facilities, an IT suite, revitalisation suite, art studio, cafe and creche and organising activities for local residents.

The relief of poverty and advancement of education and religion in the Muslim community, to assist the poor and orphans of Islamic religion, to erect or help to erect schools, charitable institutions, mosques, orphanages and nurseries for the Islamic community in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Besides providing educational support to the local school, the charity also organised after school clubs throughout the week that has proved popular.

Provision of care and education for under 5's and wrap around education for children up to the age of 12 years

Offering appropriate teaching programmes recommended by OFSTED and play facilities to all children regardless of race, culture,religion or means.By encouraging parents to become involved in the activities of the Nursery, andBy providing the necessary facilities for the daily care, play, recreation and education of children during out of school hours and holidays.

Day time care and education of children 2yrs to 5yrs

The charity operates After School Clubs and Holiday Play Schemes for children. In addition we are committed to the training and development of our staff and volunteers and to the dissemination of good practice within the sector. We offer volunteering opportunities to local people and provide routes to further training and paid work.

Running a nursery for under 5's

Sunday services open to the public for worship, bible teaching, sacraments of communion and baptism.Performance of weddings, dedications, and funerals.Young peoples activities including sunday School, Youth Clubs, and annual 'Holiday Bible Club' for children.Weekly groups for Mothers and Todddlers.A pre-school for children 2-5.Pastoral care.Premises made available to community groups.

Hemdean House School is an Independent Day School that provides a high standard of education for children between the ages of rising 3 and 11, and high quality wrap-around care before and after school, and during the holidays.
