The objects of the CIO are:To promote the advancement of the art of opera for the public benefit through(1) The promotion and presentation of high-quality opera for the benefit of the local communities in Cumbria.(2) To educate young instrumentalists, singers, and actors based in or from Cumbria in the field of opera.
