Sefydlwyd ym 1939 gan rai a oedd a chysylltiad a'r Wladfa Gymreig yn Chubut fel dolen gyswllt rhwng y ddwy wlad. Pwrpas y Gymdeithas yw hybu y cysylltiad rhwng Cymry ac Ariannin a Chymru trwy gynnal digwyddiadau yng Nghymru a noddi dysgu a hybu'r Gymraeg a gweithgareddau perthnasol arall.
