We reach out to families by organising parenting groups, parent & toddler groups and marriage preparation resources, family holidays, support for families at our local prisons and women's refuges and a commitment to uphold members around the world in our prayers. Since September 2010 we have employed, with the help of grants, a Community Development Co-ordinator to facilitate this work.

Taking care of the fabric and running a small Village Hall, providing space for local groups e.g. Bridge, Martial Arts, Yoga, WI; Civic Society.In addition, the Hall is used by (a) Music groups providing evening entertainment (b) Birthday parties (c) Wakes (d) Wedding receptions etc.

Provides facilities for local organisations, including dance, karate, fitness classes, indoor bowls and other community activities. The venue can also be hired for private parties and functions.

For over thirty years we have acted as a watchdog on all developments in the town. Our principal task is to monitor proposals which might impact on the historic core and traditions of Howden. We aim to stimulate public interest, promote high standards of planning and architecture and secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest.

The Adnams Community Trust supports good causes within 25 miles of Southwold. Grants range from £100 to £2,500. National charities may apply providing the grant is for use exclusively within the Adnams Community Trust catchment area. Grants are made under the headings of Health & Social Welfare, Education, Recreation, The Arts, Buildings/Community Facilities, History, Environment/Conservation.

The Otford Society is an Amenities Charity specialising in strengthening community ties, preserving the rural and historic character of Otford and improving the quality of Otford Villaeg Life by providing funding to improve village amenities. We raise funds through membership subscription, donations and by running community events and fund raising activities.

Provision of a facility for community activities for the Parish of Eaton Bishop, including Ruckhall, Lane Head and Lower Eaton and other surrounding villages if required.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of people of Garboldisham and the surrounding areas. The Church operates locally in relationship with a family of churches across the UK and abroad, supporting mission locally and abroad, and runs a community resource which is used by organizations as a community center. We also run community activities locally and provide support for Grace Advocacy helping to provide support to those in the local community who are need of assistance.

A non-political independent organisation monitoring planning, land use, regeneration, tourism, civic pride, heritage, and business, raising awareness to the people of Pontefract and district. Raising the profile of Pontefract as a place to live, work, do business and visit, by protecting and enhancing the environment.

The charity works by raising funds from voluntary sources within the Diocese of Guildford which are used to make grants to assist local churches and faith-linked organisations develop and sustain community projects. The Trustees work to maintain and improve the Community Centre for community activities, for example Girl Guides, Karate class, Theatre arts group(adults and children, and Private hire parties.
