Northants YFC is a voluntary organisation for young people aged between 10 and 30 in and around the county of Northamptonshire. The Derwent Valley Light Railway Society (DVLRS) operates and maintains the last remaining stretch of the original Derwent Valley Light Railway (DVLR) that ran from York Foss Islands to Cliff Common near Selby. The railway is operated on behalf of and within the bounds of the Yorkshire Museum of Farming (YMF) at Murton, York, as an integral part of the Museum.

OMF will provide medical assistance to individuals in need in rural communities in Nigeria and beyond. It will also improve living standards of individuals in rural areas by training doctors and the general public on life support skills, improving educational facilities and funding scholarships and providing food and clean water to those most in need.

THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AMONG PEOPLE LIVING IN RURAL AREAS WITHIN SRI LANKA, PARTICULARLY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) VICTIMS OF THE CIVIL WAR AND NATURAL DISASTERS, BY SUPPORTING THEM IN THEIR BASIC FOOD, MEDICAL, AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS.

We support projects implemented in rural areas of Malawi which improve the lives in particular but not exclusively, of the elderly, widows, orphans and vulnerable children.

Annual Agricultural/Horticultural Show

To advance the education of young members of the public at large in argriculture, home crafts,country life and related subjects

The aim of the trust is to support effective voluntary youth work with, and on behalf of, young people in the rural areas of England & Wales. The trust will concern itself primarily with the motivation and training of young people, developing their personalities and individual capacity to play their full part as caring and active members of their rural communities.

Kingsley and Newton Village Institute is a charitable community building within the rural village of Kingsley in Cheshire. The Institute has a main hall with bar area, snooker room, bowling green and two tennis courts. Various social activities take place on the premises including line dancing, quiz nights, indoor and outdoor bowls, art classes, snooker and private parties.

Improving livelihoods in northern Uganda through economic empowerment, education and agriculture so that the people of the region, who are rebuilding their lives after the war with the Lords Resistance Army, are financially independent and self-sustainable which will enable them to educate their children and develop their own lives in order to build a healthier, happier future.

SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL SERICES FOR 10 TO 26 YEAR OLDS

The main activity is to organise an agricultural Show every year, on the last Monday of July. The show works hard to retain it's agricultural roots, and attract local support, as well as educate and inform those with less countryside knowledge.

Working to provide basic needs to rural Tanzania. At present we are working on getting clean, fresh water to 14,000 people in the Masai area of Tanzania. These people deserve to access basic needs we take for granted. We also support the local primary school in Lengijave at present and have managed to install electricity into part of the school across a gorge and glaze windows.

Part of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs for the furtherance of young peoples knowledge of Farming and the Countryside. All inclusive policy for young people to meet socially and compete with like-minded organisations with a rural remit.

The promotion of agriculture in the field of pesticides for the benefit of the community.

The charity supplies Water Wheels to poor villages in rural India.

The provision of homes as residences for farmers and other agricultural workers in Northumberland, who are incapacitated through old age or infirmity, or who are not less than sixty years of age, who are in need of assistance and who have retired from full employment, and who shall prior to ceasing work have been employed in agriculture in Northumberland for a period of not less than 15 years.
