We take homeless people off the streets who have been assessed and referred by key workers and are committed and motivated to the challenge of getting back on track. We provide them with a room in a shared property and help them to find a job, save funds and find permanent accommodation, with aftercare. The StandOut Programme is an innovative approach to training, coaching and supporting people preparing for release from prison. It operates in three stages:an intensive course delivered in prison in the lead up to release; on-going support up to the point of release; and continued support after release into employment, education or training.
