At present the main area of work is Urban and Rural Pakistan, The Charity works to improve living standards for the poor through Health, Education and Employment. We support people affected by natural disasters and help in the after mass of the destruction caused. Also through our ongoing Health and Employment projects we are constantly provided help and support where needed.

The Urban Family work in partnership with four local churches in North West London to provide a safe environment for children to meet and have fun and learn about the Christian Faith. We aim to build relationships with the whole family of the children we meet, and to support the volunteers who work at the clubs.

The Trustees have determined that their priorities for funding; The Dennis Mason-Jones Award, The Bedford Scholarship and Academic Awards (tertiary & secondary education). There remain funds available for grants and support to be dispersed as the Society sees fit and subject to satisfying the objects of the society in the areas of Social and Education support of Architectural and urban design.

We advance environmental protection wildlife conservation in Africa conducting applied research and management in the fields of conservation biology; natural resources management; ecosystem services provision; behavioural ecology and urban ecology.

Street Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue. Kettering Street Pastors work in the night-time economy in Kettering, with the support and blessing of the publicans, police & Local Authority.

Using public demonstration events backed up by online media, Natural Neighbours inspires & supports people in urban communities to create and connect essential habitat for wildlife in their private outdoor spaces. We raise awareness of the health and wellbeing benefits of supporting and experiencing nature wherever and whoever you are, with a particular focus on the most marginalised communities.

Exeter Street Pastors is a church response to urban problems and issues we face in our city centre, where we seek to help, care for and listen to people we meet at night time each weekend from 10.30pm - 2.30am. Street Pastors engage with the city centre local community, assisting any in need of help, while working alongside the council, police, pub & club doorstaff & other emergency services.

To provide community activities for residents of Penge East and the neighbourhood that provide social, leisure and educational benefits, & encourage social cohesion, neighbourliness, and the enjoyment of green space and urban nature. To manage and maintain a community centre and garden where community actvities are based, that's also available for hire.

Fundraising and offering practical support to a large urban junior school in Farnborough, Hampshire. Organising social and educational events for children at the school. Meeting as a committee to discuss ways to support the school.

Embed architecture and urban design in children's education and give a voice to young people within their local physical environment through building a network of built environment professionals, educationists and teachers across the UK to support their work and embed youth-led design approaches. This is achieved through Awards, Forums, Resource Bank, Research and Policy.

Promoting the principles of good citizenship through Lions Clubs International programmes as needed in the Stone Urban and Stone Hinterland areas focusing on the development of youth, the support of the aged and infirm, promoting healthy living and well-being awareness and encouraging like minded people to volunteer in support of our programmes.

Provision of psychotherapy to adults in the London area

The 18th Bristol Scout Group runs Beaver, Cub and Scout packs for children in Redland and Cotham, urban suburbs in north central Bristol. All three groups are fully subscribed and serve an area of Bristol which has no council supported youth centre or youth workers.

Our Charity promotes the development of young people from the inner city areas of Birmingham & Sandwell in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC)

Philomusica is a mixed-voice choral society giving concerts in both rural and urban churches throughout Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, as well as performances in Pershore and Tewkesbury Abbeys.

The Alphege Charitable Trust advances education particularly as relates to the encouragement of urban environmental education

Newstead Enterprise carries out urban & rural regeneration in particular in Newstead and surrounding area. Activities include education & training in land management particularly for young people; the development of a Visitor Centre and fishing lakes; the conservation, protection and improvement of the local environment; all using the Newstead & Annesley Country Park.

To advance the Christian religion either in the UK or overseas, in particular but not exclusively, by: - the advancement of education, - the promotion of good race relations and equality of opportunity between persons of different racial groups; and - the relief of poverty particularly amongst children in inner-city areas.

To further the objectives of the WI Movement. "To improve and develop conditions of rural and urban life and to advance the education of women in citizenship, in public questions both national and international, in music, drama and other cultural subjects, and to secure instruction and training in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare".

We operate a furniture project, food bank , urban sensory and learning gardens, and support for the ex-military which is our core activity base.
