Grant making

To advance the Christian religion among past and present students of universities, colleges, schools and other institutions of learning.

The main activities of the College is the provision of creative craft courses

To advance the Jewish religion by making grants to Talmudical Colleges and other approprate indtitutions and individuals.

1) Makes grants, subject to certain conditions, to students in Cardiff to enable them to continue their education. 2) Provides premises to certain educational establishments. 3) Makes an annual grant, subject to certain conditions to the University Of Wales Cardiff.

Westhoughton Vision took responsibility of the building which was previously the Community College in 2017. We began our new organisation as a registered Charity in July 2021 and formed The Hub at Westhoughton with the support of local councillors, Bolton Council and a team of enthusiastic volunteers. The Charity awards grants to individuals, schools, parishes and corporate bodies to further the following objectives: in the promotion of the education of persons involved with religious education; the provision of instruction and resources to schools and parishes; to assist persons financially so they can attend an establishment of further education to pursue their education.

To provide finance to Dr Radcliffe's School Steeple Aston, to meet expenditure on building repairs and alterations to the School and special benefits that would not otherwise be provided by the LEA and to provide grants to eligible applicants for higher or further education or training and to local charities

SUPPORT TO ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL.

Maintains three church buildings for regular use by the general public and various local bodies, eg. music festival, Dartmouth Orchestral Society, Dartmouth Community College Womens Institute. Also maintains a building used by Dartmouth pre-school, Dartmouth Brownies and Dartmouth Players (amateur dramatics).

Letting of sports recreation facilities to the community for social welfare or other leisure time occupation of individuals and groups who have need for such facilities.

Objective of the Trust Fund is the advancement of education and training for residents of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in technical and managerial skills relevant to commerce and industry.

Since 1966, The Richard Dimbleby Cancer Fund has supported people living with cancer in the UK. Today our main focus is the online national resource, cancercaremap.org. Providing grants to individuals involved in training for gospel word ministry. Such training may be at theological college or be of an apprentice-style, based at at a Church. Also provision of grants to churches and other organisations involved in promoting the Christian faith to assist with the launch of new ministries. On occasion provides grants to gospel workers facing financial hardship.

The objectives of the Charity is to promote the study of music and drama and the arts, by running Summer Schools and short courses in addition to the regular daily teaching sessions, this has been largely successful with in-house teachers providing courses and an increase use of the College facilities by outside groups.

Making grants to mature students of a talmudical college and other charities.

St John's Centre has provided training/learning opportunities for over 400 individuals improving their chances for further education, paid employment, improved health and well being. and have provided 20 volunteer opportunities to gain skills and experience supporting our work. The charity supports 20 voluntary groups enabling them to carry out their own activities for community benefit .
