Omushana, Sunshine for Children aims to enhance lives of children in the villages around the mountain gorilla reserves in SW Uganda by improving their educational opportunities, welfare, confidence and quality of life. To date, Omushana has constructed a community Library & IT Training Centre, assisted more than 10 schools, children's groups, a vocational institute and football academy club.

To assist local unemployed people, local colleges with clear pathways to (ICT) training & management and will extend the opportunities to secure employment. The training will reflect the recruitment needs of the local business sector and local economy, particularly BME (black & minority ethnic) community.
