Education Charities That specialise in School fundraising

Fund raising activity is undertaken by the charity, members are parents of pupils and teachers at the school. The charity and the school decide each year upon an appropriate project which the charity can support. Past projects include playground enhancements and technology. Monies are raised through a variety of activities ranging from summer and Xmas fairs, cake sales to curry and quiz nights.

This charity raises money that is spent on the pupils of Prenton Primary School, Wirral. Expenditure is on items such as PE equipment, IT hardware/software, books, games school visits and school playground. THE BULK OF THE MONIES AFTER THE ABOVE IS USED FOR PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OR TRAINING TO PERSONS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 A 25 AND PROVIDING GRANTS TO SCHOOLS TO MEET EXPENDITURE, NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE EDUCATION AUTHORITY. THE BENEFICIAL AREA IS THE ANCIENT PARISH OF CARTMEL AS DEFINED IN THE TRUST DEED.
