EVC Uganda is working in the district of Masaka, Uganda providing education, through a sponsorship scheme, for children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to go to school. The charity also raises funds for the building of school classrooms and dormitories, the provision of clean water supplies on school sites and LED lighting for families without electricity.

Provides support and organises trips, treats and holidays for families of children being treated for cancer or leukaemia at Sheffield Children's Hospital. Supports reseach projects and provides equipment for the ward, clinic and community nurses. PACT house provides accommodation for use by families whilst a child is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Grants awarded to help with the education of the sons and daughters of commercial travellers, sales representatives and manufacturers' agents, where the family has suffered adversity, for children at state, private day or boarding schools, college or university. A parent must have travelled to sell to the trade or business, not direct to the public. Children usually aged between 4 to 25.

Teaching of Children aged 4-18 with the curriculum preparing for GCSE and A Level examinations; Fund raising in order to provide necessary environment and conditions for the above;

Our charity, The Friends of Delamere School, is in existence to raise funds for Delamere School, a school for children with severe and profound learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders and complex medical needs.

To provide conductive education to young disabled children to help them in their everyday life and increase their self-sufficiency. To advise and teach 'hands on' parents, teachers, carers and support assistants to enable children to be more independent.

Fundraising - amongst the parents of students and alumni alongside grant applications and requests for donations from relevant trusts.

The charity currently provides support to parents and teachers by running parenting classes, work discussion groups and providing counselling.

The raising of funds to support bursaries and capital projects at Bromsgrove School.

UHST raises funds to support education in Humanist schools in Uganda. Our funds go to schools that belong to the Uganda Humanist Schools Association: the two Isaac Newton High Schools at Mbute Hill, Mpigi and Kateera, Masaka, Mustard Seed High School, Busota, Kamule and Kasese Humanist Primary School. We also provide scholarships to allow bright but needy children to attend the above high schools.

To advance the education of the pupils attending Bridgnorth Endowed School by providing and assisting inthe provision of such facilities or items at the school (not provided form statutory funds) as the trustees shall from time to time determine.

Grant making for the advancement of education

The majority of the Fund's income is provided by parents of students at the School and the Trustees are grateful for their continuing support. Additional income is received from local businesses and other organisations and the Fund also receives trading, commission and interest income.

The Trust provides bursaries to the families of choristers of St Paul's Cathedral in cases of financial hardship or lack of means to defray the costs of boarding. It also provides grants to the cathedral towards the education of choristers. In addition it makes grants to the Cathedral School to assist in the costs relating to the fabric or for other projects within the foundations objectives.

The objects of the charity are to advance the education of pupils at Wells Cathedral School for the public benefit and to assist in financial assistance towards the maintenance and development of the school, raising money for bursaries for pupils and the provision of facilities and equipment to support education.

The principal activity of the company is to provide funds for a school.

We support Asian mothers who are fleeing domestic abuse. Our services enable women to gain support and understanding within a safe and confidential environment. We provide advocacy, guidance, emotional support, workshops, social activities, referrals and signposting. We currently employ 6 paid members of staff.

WE HELP CHILDREN EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTIES WITH EARLY LITERACY AND NUMERACY TO IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS AND BECOME CONFIDENT AND ENTHUSIASTIC LEARNERS AT HOME AND SCHOOL. WE TEACH CHILDREN INDIVIDUALLY AND IN GROUPS ON TAILOR-MADE COURSES. WE MODEL OUR APPROACH AND SHARE IDEAS AND RESOURCES WITH THEIR PARENTS/CARERS. WE TRAIN TEACHERS AND TEACHING ASSISTANTS TO DELIVER BASIC SKILLS SUPPORT.

The charity raises funds for a Christian school in Zambia. The Trustees meet twice a year, normally in October and April. Fellowship Days are also held in April when some 60 to 70 folk from the UK come to receive an update on the work at Chengelo School in Zambia. Various fund raising activities are held throughout the year in different areas.

Dorchester Community Nursery School is a pre-school setting offering sessional care extended to offer early starts and lunch club.

Raising of funds to support the ongoing costs of the boarding accomodation for children attending the school, the existing school to meet the educational costs of the children attending. Supporting the building of a secondary school/college for the further education of the pupils and villagers, and supporting of land purchased for providing food in the form of rice grown on the land.

Support of disadvantaged students at Ullswater Community College enabling them to take part in extra-curricular activities organised by the College.Donations to other Charities are made from funds raised by students as part of their Citizenship studies.Awards to students who have worked diligently to achieve outstanding work.Awarding bursaries to gifted and talented students.
