The objectives of the Charity are the advancement and furtherance of the Jewish religion, Jewish education and the alleviation of poverty among the Jewish community.The Charity runs an academy for the learning of higher Rabbinical studies and Jewish learning and particularly for the education of young men from the UK. Watoto Trust is involved with a number of projects in Kenya supporting education in rural communities. Watoto Trust provides scholarships for about 40 children to go to secondary school. These are children in rural areas who would not otherwise be able to afford to go to school.

The activities of the charity advance education by providing bursaries at independent schools in Worcestershire for local children.

The Isle of Wight Cantata Choir hold two concerts per year with a full orchestra and professional soloists. We are a choir of some 120 members.With effect from 2022 the choir is establishing a Bursary Scheme to assist young musicians on the Isle of Wight with their musical studies. This will be a biannual event. A legacy of £20000 received in 2021 makes this possible.
