Education Charities That specialise in Student support

Our main object is to offer small, rural churches the opportunity to experience cathedral-style choral evensong. Our week's summer tour visits five churches, educating both our participants and the congregations for whom we sing, in the styles and forms of Anglican choral music and achieving a high standard of worship. We encourage young singers to join us by means of scholarships and bursaries.

To further the education of pupils attending any secondary school in the city of Liverpool by the award of prizes(or other suitable rewards or marks of distinction. The prizes must be awarded on the recommendation of the headteacher.

The Trustees make an annual award of a cash sum for musical composition and for performance in alternate years. During the year, the Charity provided a number of bursaries to assist local children in attending a local school.The Charity looked to grow its permanent endowment in order to be in a better position to increase its ability to achieve its charitable objectives.

To advance Jewish theological debate by a website principally containing the writings of the late Rabbi Dr Louis Jacobs, details of his life and scholarship and his impact and relevance to contemporary Jewish society and religion. Website to be used as a resource for scholarship and general information on Jewish theology. To encourage debate and based on the Rabbi Jacobs thoughts.

The Association of Dress Historians (ADH) supports and promotes the study and professional practice of the history of dress, textiles and accessories of all cultures and regions of the world, from before classical antiquity to present day. The ADH supports scholarship through international conferences, publication of The Journal of Dress History and prizes and awards for students and researchers.

(i) To provide Bursaries or Scholarships to persons attending Rishworth School as might be in need of financial assistance for educational purposes.(ii) To award financial assistance other than Bursaries or Scholarships in the interests of both physical and academic education to persons attending Rishworth School.

The Sher Jung Foundation, formed in memory of the Late Sher Jung, has been set up to promote and advance the values espoused by Sher Jung, by supporting and promoting aspiring writers with a particular emphasis on South Asian writers, as well as work to encourage literacy in the community. We hope to do this in many ways, including internships, scholarships and mentoring schemes.

Provides assistance to existing pupils and past scholars of Lord Williams's School, Thame, normally by way of book grants. Surplus funds are applied to purchase of books/equipment for the school.

We offer women writers (aged over forty) occupancy of Church Cottage for between two weeks and two months, to pursue personal work on any subject, intended for publication or performance. Appointments are made on merit. The Cottage is in Clifford Chambers, a village two miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. It is equipped comfortable and private. We pay bills and occasionally offer a bursary.

The charity objects Objects are specifically restricted to the following. The advancement of education for the public benefit to those in financial need and/or ill health by providing computer science and literacy workshops awarding scholarships maintenance allowances and grants. The objectives of the Fund are to give financial assistance to any Old Oundelian or their children at Oundle School, Laxton School or at some Preparatory School or at some recognised place of higher education. To found Scholarships, Exhibitions or Bursaries and to give financial assistance by loan or gift to any Old Oundelian or their dependants in need or in furtherance of recreational activities

During the 2022/23 financial year the choir performed 12 public concerts to raise funds for charities and good causes at the behest of concert organisers. Our nominated "Charity of the Year" for 2023/24 is SERV Kent aka Bloodrunners. Our Young Musicians programme has been enhanced by the creation of a Bursary to cover their travelling and incidental costs.

Activities aimed at fostering, for the benefit of the public, the conservation of wild mammals. From time to time running bursary schemes to support mammal conservation and donating to other charities supporting mammal conservation and mammal projects.

The Hallifax Trust provides grants and bursaries primarily for the primary school serving the parish of Shimpling, also for people under the age of 25 who either attended Shimpling School or whose parents live in Shimpling. If there are any funds left in any year not required for the above it may be used for charitable purposes for the general benefit of the residents of Shimpling.
