The aims of the City of London Freemen's School Bursary Fund are to contribute towards the fees payable to the school by pupils who would be unable to continue education at the school without financial assistance or who would be unable to commence education at the school despite being accepted.

Bedgebury Foundation is currently awarding grants to individuals under two programmes: Additional Needs and Vocational Education. The EGA Hospital Charity supports both patients and staff at the hospital. We award a Travel Fellowship yearly for doctors travelling abroad to further their training. We help with improvement of hospital facilities, fund research projects and buy vital equipment such as for fetal surgery or postnatal care, and much more. The EGA Charity PhD Scholarship, funding PhD fees, started in 2022.

To offer bursaries at 6th form level for those students who attend a 'City' school or whose parents have lived or worked within the City of London for a minimum of 5 years. To offer grants to students (age 11-16) of single parent families, also with the 'City' qualification. The 'City' is the 'square mile' almost all postcodes EC3, EC4 and a small area of EC1, EC2 - not Greater London.

The object of the charity is to advance the education of children and young people in the area of benefit. Financial assistance is given to both Fowey Primary School & Fowey River Academy (previously Fowey Community College) and individual students under the age of 25 who qualify for awards in the form of annual bursaries and grants.

The award of grants, at the trustees' discretion to North London Collegiate School for Girls, for the advancement of science and music at the school, and for the awards of scholarships and bursaries to pupils at the school.

Provision of bursaries for girls up to the age of entry to university

The provision, by competition, of scholarships to those studying for a first degree at a university in the United Kingdom and who have a parent who has served in the Armed Forces of the Crown.

The Trust is currently funding a regional programme in the Welsh Valleys that provides engineering-focused enhancement and enrichment opportunities for students and teachers in secondary schools and Post-16 as well as a bursary programme to support students progressing on to vocational education. It's aim is to create a local STEM-skilled workforce capable of meeting the region's future needs.
