TO PROVIDE EARLY YEAR'S EDUCATION AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AGED 3 TO 4

To provide high quality, integrated and fully inclusive childcare for children aged 2 to 12 years. We provide full day care for the Early Years age group, together with before and after school clubs and Holiday club for older children. We serve mainly the community of Thorpe Willoughby, but are open to all children who can arrange transport from further afield.

Promote effectiveness of charities and voluntary sector generally, schools and public bodies, by improving their governance through - raising awareness of rule of trustees on governing bodies and - encouragement of individuals to volunteer on govering bodies.

Supporting rowing in the University of London. Funding the University of London Boat Club (ULBC) and running the University boathouse for the benefit of ULBC, the rowing clubs of the colleges and member institutions affiliated to the University, and two youth rowing charities.

Care and education of children for children aged 3 to 11 years in the form of Nursery Education and out-of school clubs. Nursery operates within the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements, focusing on learning through play. Wraparound care is provided for working parents in breakfast club and after-school club. Holiday club care for 3 to 11 year olds in school holidays.

We provide a safe, secure and stimulating pre-school learning environment for children aged 2 to 5 years.

Early Years Education

The advancement of education and the relief of poverty in Africa with the main activities currently focused on Tanzania where the charity finances the construction of girls dormitories and teachers accommodation for village schools and also pays for a field officer to train villagers in running VSLAs (Village Savings and Loan Associations)

To advance the education of the students attending the George Whitefield College (a theological college of the Reformed Evangelical Anglican Church of South Africa)

We are an East London based charity that aims to help build young people's confidence and skills through our activities in the local area. We host weekly running sessions for 8 to 16 year olds as well as one to one mentoring and coaching. We also develop young people's career ambitions through career events, work experience and coaching.

Care and education for children aged 2 -5 years

NYJC was established to advance, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of jazz music in all its aspects, for young people and others, and to raise the aspirations of young musicians. Our main activity is a week-long summer school in August each year.

To provide financial help and support to poor persons and the general community in the parishes of Chipping, Thornley with Wheatley and Leagram with Bowland. To maintain the two Almshouses and provide accommodation for poor persons of good character.

We provide low cost furniture and domestic appliances to disadvantaged people particularly in the areas of Burnley and Pendle.We provide work experience placements with accredited training for the long term unemployed and volunteers. We help to preserve the environment by reducing the volume of bulky furniture and appliance waste that would otherwise go to landfill.

The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation is a charity for the community and beyond, to help those who are vulnerable and need support. This ranges from individual food parcels to doorstep visits and phone calls, teaching people to cook on a budget, renovating spaces to improve mental well-being, affordable hair cuts, running social clubs & events and supplying local schools with hampers and breakfast boxes.

IT access & print facilities, English classes, mental health well-being Course, Pay-as-you-feel cafe, volunteering opportunities, Local gardening projects, Community Centre facilities.

Gower Street makes grants to organisations involved in combating the global climate emergency, and to organisations working to improve school education outcomes in Ghana. Occasionally grants are made for other purposes at the trustees' discretion. Unsolicited applications for funding are not accepted.

Bramber Bakehouse supports female survivors of abuse, exploitation and displacement. Our holistic, trauma-informed, person-centred programme offers baking and wellbeing sessions. Women learn new skills and are supported to engage with their community and society. Life skills, graduate opportunities and employability pathways reduce the risk of abuse and exploitation and increases positive choices.

Promotion of the Islamic faith. To faciliate the performance of prayers, Eid congregations, special prayer, Islamic conferences, seminars and running school for Islamic education. General education for Muslim children and youths.
