The Trust's mission is to conserve local wildlife, promote nature conservation and provide the means by which everyone can become involved. Our principal activities are: the acquisition and management of nature reserves; the collection and dissemination of biological data; the provision of advice and comment to authorities and land-managers; and the promotion of wildlife conservation through education programmes. The principal activity of the Trust's subsidiary trading company is that of consultancy services.

JCT makes grants for charitable purposes in four main areas of funding: population control, the natural environment, education and health.

Wellbeing/educational programmes in woodland and green spaces, helping disadvantaged adults and children refocus and rebuild their lives; engaging them in skills learning and self development: NEET, victims of crime, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, ex-forces, unemployed, disengaged from school, learning disabilities. Conservation of the environment. Train and deliver forest school.

Promotes any charitable purposes within and around England, Wales and Scotland with emphasis on such parts of the areas where the charity The Riverside Group Ltd has provided housing accommodation.

The Foundation is actively involved and sponsor conservation activities both at Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks, in addition to overseas projects in the Congo and Gabon and more recently in Indonesia and Madagascar. Our main spheres of conservation-based activity include captive breeding and ecosystem management and reintroduction of captive-bred and confiscated wild-born animals.

In the West Midlands region: social welfare, medical and healthcare projects, education, places of religious worship, conservation of the environment, the arts and penal reform. In Ireland: cross community initiatives promoting reconciliation. In the United Kingdom as a whole: the Religious Society of Friends. Overseas: sustainable development projects predominantly in Africa.

Gwent Wildlife Trust has a vision of an environment rich in wildlife for everyone. We work to rebuild biodiversity and engage people with their environment. We manage land, campaign for wildlife, provide advice and promote enjoyment and appreciation of wildlife.

To apply income and capital towards such charitable purposes as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit. Since 1982, the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust has been the leading voluntary organisation promoting wildlife conservation in Montgomeryshire.The Trust currently manages and cares for 19 Nature Reserves within the county, totalling some 500ha in area. These reserves are a showcase of some of Montgomeryshire's finest remnants of prime wildlife habitat.
