Farnham Castle's primary activity is the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by the maintenance, repair or restoration of 12th century Farnham Castle, a nationally important historic site.

The Howe Trust (Wheatley) provides small grants for local people in need, and care for 26 acres of land. The agricultural land, known collectively as The Howe, includes some 100 allotments, an orchard and memorial tree area as well as grassland, hedgerows and woodland.
