The group aims to improve the protection of badgers across Berkshire by promoting awareness via newsletters, regular meetings, attendance at local events and giving talks in Berkshire and the surrounding area. The Group also monitors badger activity at a number of setts across Berkshire and liaises with Councils on any proposals which may have an impact on badgers and their habitat.

Fund-raising activities eg Raffles and table top sales.Monthly Social Meetings, held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Riverside Dialysis unit.Attending patient information days for newly diagnosed kidney patients to offer peer support and information on the Association and its work..Attending workshops on renal matters to keep updated on new advances in the renal field.

Environmental work based in Wanstead Park, Epping Forest. Also walks around other sites of special environmental interest.

Promote the thorough investigation of the geology, fauna, flora & physical features of the County: bring together the interest in & study of every branch of natural history; hold & maintain library, records & reference material. Major activities:- Programme of Spring & Summer Field Meetings; Programme of Winter indoor meetings culminating with annual Recorders Meeting; Publication of Transactions.

Land management and helping in the village

We run an Energy Advice and Climate Emergency Centre in central Exeter, Devon

Manage the windmill hill site to preserve the rich flora and fauna and protect the bird life.Maintain the hedgerows and grassland with accompanying footpaths and styles.Undertake authentic preservation of the Grade II listed stone tower windmill to the standards set by the Bridgnorth District Council Conservation Officer.

The Company's objectives are the regeneration and maintenance of Myton Pool and its surrounds as wildlife habitats for the public benefit.

We work towards developing a 150 acre wildlife conservation area known as Oakhill and provide volunteers to protect and conserve wildlife habitat and species on the site. We provide a free events diary of outdoor educational and recreational activities for people of all ages and abilities and encourage the local community to be proactive concerning nature conservation and environmental awareness.

The LANCE Trust is dedicated to stopping and reversing the decline of wildlife habitats and species in the parish of Long Ashton near Bristol.

DCV volunteers assist in the management and improvement of nature reserves and the maintenance of the public footpath and bridleway network throughout Dorset.We work on weekends throughout the year, undertaking a wide variety of work for charitable and statutory nature conservation organisations, local authorities and private landowners.

Provides education on wildlife topics by providing Field Meetings and Lectures.

Nature Conservation - Provision of a natural space for educational and quiet leisure activities e.g. walking, viewing nature and relaxation.

Improving the environment and actions to combat climate change in the PL21 postal area

Charity's objectives are: -advancement of education-promotion of the conservation, protection and improvement of physical and natural environment-relief of hardship and employment.Main activity of the charity for this period has been fund raising for and supporting a school in India.

We monitor barn owl and bat nesting sites and where necessary provide nesting boxes or partial renovation of buildings to protect the nest.We also provide illustrated talks and field walks to educate the public.2014-2015 we received a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to enable us to put cameras in all our boxes in order to monitor barn owls with the least disturbance. Since 2002 over 5000 trees have been planted in Beckermet Cumbria on farm land which has been named Little Mesopotamia as it lies on a site between two tributaries of the river Ehen. The charity aims to nurture and care for an experimental botanical collection,to protect the natural environment for the benefit of wildlife, and to encourage understanding of conservation issues with guided tours.

The Gleadless Valley Wildlife Trust is a local voluntary group working to care for and improve the green spaces of Gleadless Valley in Sheffield for the benefit of wildlife and people. We particularly concentrate our efforts towards the woodlands and larger green spaces in the valley.

Supplies speakers and research help to schools, presents monthly displays and lectures, holds an annual exhibition, collects and researches information and material on local area. Produces publications on related topics. Co-operates with local authority on conservation areas and preservation of the built and natural environment.
