The conservation protection and improvement of the natural environment of the wood known as Emery Down, in the parish of Basildon, Berkshire.Provision of a "woodland classroom" for use by local school children and descriptive boards to identify specific habitats, trees and plants within the wood, thereby broadening their knowledge and understanding of the natural world.

To hold, preserve and maintain the natural environment of the ancient woodland known as Bicknor Wood Maidstone, so that it remains permanently as a natural woodland to preserve a valuable wildlife habitat; accessible to the local community and the wider public as a space for their use and enjoyment.

Land management

Conservation, protection and improvement of wetlands in western Kenya, in particular but not exclusively, the Saiwa Swamp ecosystem and surrounding area.Advancement of education for children living in the Saiwa Swamp ecosystem and surrounding area, in particular but not exclusively, at Kipsaina Primary School, by improving the physical learning environment and promoting environmental awareness.

Encourage and enable, through educational programs, the monitoring, recording, advocacy, and protection of Rutland's natural history and biodiversity. Encourage the public to engage with and understand Rutland's natural history.

To observe, record & preserve the flora & fauna by way of field visits throughout the summer and issue an annual report containing the findings.We also carry out a winter programme of talks in order to promote our activities and raise awareness in the community of items of interest or areas of concern regarding the state of the natural history locally

BARROW CIVIC & LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1985 TO PROMOTE INTEREST IN THE URBAN AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF BARROW IN FURNESS.

To provide an open recreational area for local residents and also for events of various kinds throughout the year. To provide local schools with the facilities to educate pupils in local flora and fauna and help in the celebration of national events under the direction of the local authority and the wishes of local residents. Panama Wildlife Conservation is an organisation of scientists dedicated to the conservation of Panama?s natural resources, the protection of biodiversity and the study of poorly understood endangered animal and plant species within Panama. Panama Wildlife Conservation aims to create conservation and ecotourism management through the use of capacity building in Panama.

1. Enhancing habitats for native wildlife, including its flora, fauna and other taxa;2. Providing information to raise public awareness;3. Promoting actions to mitigate biodiversity loss and the impact of climate change on the natural environment;4. Facilitating community support for biodiversity protection by promoting nature themed activities.

The charity currently operates in Kenya. We provide funding and make grants1. for community projects which help the people work in harmony with their wildlife2. to support new and existing respected predator projects3. to work with community partners to ensure the survival of wildlife, especially predators4. to provide educational scholarships to develop conservation leaders at all levels

The North Downs Society is a public amenity society with the following objects: a) to conserve natural features and ecology, b) to encourage the preservation of buildings of historic interest and a high standard of design in all new developments and planning proposals, c) to stimulate public interest in the history, character, beauty and wild-life of the countryside, d) to further general amenity.

London Bat Group is a nature conservation charity. We carry out educational activities about bats; we conduct bat survey work; and we raise funds to contribute to bat conservation projects in London.

The Trust supports activities that could directly contribute towards the conservation of biodiversity in the areas in which Operation Wallacea work. In the last year the Trust have funded a Postdoc to complete an application for the Cusuco National Park and surrounding areas to be funded under the Natural Forest Standard scheme. THE FREE I.T FACILITIES ARE USED BY JOB SEEKERS TO SIGN ON AND SEEK EMPLOYMENT.HELPING ORGANISATIONS ARE OFFERED A FREE OUT REACH FACILITY TO SEE CLIENTS. RESIDENTS CAN GET RECYCLING BAGS AND LOCAL INFORMATION, SUCH AS COMMUNITY COUNTY COUNCIL MINUTES. WE HELP TO DEVELOP NEW COMMUNITY GROUPS.

The charity currently manages the St Dyfnog's Well Project in woodland in Llanrhaeadr YC. The project will safeguard the historic structures within the site and enhance the biodiversity of the woodland setting through sensitive conservation, including consolidation of the Well basin and other masonry structures, and careful ecological management.

An eight acre public open space in an attractive valley in Inkberrow, Worcs, containing a medieval moat and fishponds, seats, picnic tables and pathways. The area is a cross between a public park and a nature reserve, with good walks, good views, the encouragement of wildlife, and the opportunity to work outdoors in maintaining the site for the public, at twice monthly work parties.
