The company was formed to advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and to conserve, improve and protect the physical and natural environment for the public benefit by promoting the reduction of energy wastage, renewable energies, the use of low carbon means of transport and reforestation.

Monitoring and protecting local wildlife

The Charity manages the Millennium Green and its environs to:-i) Provide for and encourage the relaxation and informal recreation of residents and visitors. ii) Enhance the "natural" areas by creating a wildflower meadow where wildlife and flora can flourish.iii) Provide an area for community events and celebrations.

We aim to maintain Mountsorrel's flora & fauna by maintaining a Site of Importance CBCW5814/2(25498) by traditional methods like hand scything. We aim to inform on Mountsorrel's past at our Monthly Meetings. Our Museum opened in September 2019 to display our artefacts and photographic material on Mountsorrel subjects to inform and educate visitors. Our Website also offers heritage information.

Our group co-ordinates activities within the Don Gorge for the benefit of the wildlife, nature and environment, businesses which operate within it and the public who visit. The area includes a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and we try to educate people into respecting what they come to see. As parking space is limited, we encourage access on foot, cycle or boat.

Merritts Meadow Conservation Trust manages Merritts Meadow Nature Reserve, a 4 acre site in the centre of Petersfield Hants.Working closely with other Conservation Groups and the local community, the Charity is responsible for maintaining and improving the land, making it more valuable to wildlife and improving its biodiversity as well as creating a peaceful area for the local community to enjoy.

The preservation of a Nationally important Scheduled Ancient Monument. Providing an area for the quiet recreation of the general public. Conservation of wildlife - both flora and fauna. The site is located in Pirton, Hertfordshire.

We act as an umbrella organisation for the Beekeeping Associations in Buckinghamshire that are affiliated to the BBKA. We organise educational seminars for the benefit of Bee Keepers in the area. We organise County wide educational diploma courses for beekeepers. We are the go between the British Beekeepers Association and Beekeeping Associations in the County.

The aim of the charity is to promote and preserve Grimsargh Wetlands for the local community. Our main objective is to protect this wonderful wildlife habitat and to encourage and promote the fauna and flora of the site. Grimsargh Wetlands is a Biological Heritage site and regularly attracts rare birds, animals and plants. Aims also to improve access and promote education.

New Leaf Alresford offers local information and advice, to help the community to adopt the positive changes needed to tackle climate change, promote sustainability and protect our environment. We provide information through the New Leaf Website: www.newleafalresford.org and Facebook group. We volunteer locally on projects which tackle climate change, increase recycling and boost biodiversity.

The conservation of badgers and their habitat

Promote for the benefit of the public the conservation protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in our area including by promoting biological diversity and advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.This is done by maintaining the woodland and meadow owned and holding talks and other events

Protection, management and restoration of Long Lane Pasture for wildlife and for the benefit and enjoyment of the local community in Finchley. The Pasture is open to the public each day from 10 am until dusk, and in the winter when it is frequently flooded, it is open on Saturday mornings 10am to noon. Special events are held on a regular basis.
