The East Rural Youth & Community Association operates in the only community centre in the East Rural Ward of Blackburn with Darwen.

Station Town Community Centre has a weekly tea dance, youth club, dancing school and cycle group. It is the host venue for Wingate & Station Town Family Centre's summer activity programme. The centre also provides a venue for hire for local organisations, businesses and local families.
