Through volunteer action, The Friends works to: enhance habitat and create new habitat for wildlife at Paxton Pits; achieve expansion of the nature reserve; enhance visitor facilities and the visitor experience; promote and provide information about the Reserve and its wildlife through public events, publications and the Reserve website, and support informal and formal educational activities.

Making grants to people in need who reside in Aldermaston. Providing Almshouse accomadation.

General charitable Activities, with particular interest in projects local to Cavendish in Suffolk. Other categories supported are Animal Care, Armed Forces, Medical and Disability, Arts & Culture and Garden and Environmental.

The activities we offer are planned according to the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance and are based around child centred learning. The children explore nature in our garden and the local beaches, parks and forests and grow plants, fruit and vegetables. We have a trained forest school leader who is also a qualified teacher and are proud to nurture happy, confident, independent children.

To promote and protect the mental health and wellbeing of current and ex Military Personnel, current and former emergency service personnel and prisoners and ex offenders from the effects of trauma related conditions. Providing meaningful distraction therapies and activities within our garden and workshop and in the local community. Championing social inclusion for all of our service users.

The charity provides sporting, social and recreational facilities by the provision and maintenance of the sports field and pavilion and the management of the village hall. This is funded by a number of events eg annual carnival, open gardens, and hiring of the village hall

Advance the education of the public in the history, ecology and management of woodland and wildlife in the forty-one parishes in West Oxfordshire, which are in the area of the former Norman Royal Hunting Forest of Wychwood. Conserve, restore and promote the use and management of trees, woodlands and other wildlife habitats and the landscape for the benefit and participation of the public.

THE WOODFIELD PROJECTS ACTIVITIES ARE TO:(1) RUN THE PAVILION AS A COMMUNITY HUB FOR SCHOOLS AND LOCAL GROUPS; (2) PROVIDE A SAFE GREEN SPACE FOR LEARNING, RECREATION, LEISURE, AND SOCIAL INCLUSION; (3) PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT; AND (4) PROVIDE HORTICULTURAL TRAINING FOR LOCAL PEOPLE TO INCREASE THEIR EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS.

FOPV is the charitable community group which looks after the parks in Sheffield lying along the Porter Brook. We aim to conserve and restore the beautiful features and industrial heritage of this 4 km long linear valley which links the Peak District countryside to the urban areas of S.W. Sheffield.

Queens Walk Community Centre sits at the centre of the Meadows area of Nottingham. Over 40 different community groups and societies use the centre for regular activities including disability, youth and faith groups. The Parks continues to be well used by the community as the major open space in this area of Seaham. Solihull Manor House Charity is responsible for the management and conservation of Solihull Manor House and GardensIt facilitates the use of rooms and gardens by local businesses , groups , and community charities . There is a Tea Room which is leased to a local family business. The property is vested in the official custodian of charities .
