Facilities Charities That specialise in Green space

We manage the playing field and children's play area. We raise money and involve village residents in fund raising and social events. Local businesses support our work financially and we have an effective working relationship with them and our Parish Council. Castleton Primary School now use a dedicated woodland area for environmental studies. The field is open to the general public.

As a PTA, we raise funds for the school to advance the education of the pupils at the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and resources across all year groups.

The Charity Trustees' role is to distribute monies received from land, allotments (occupied by tenants) and investments for the parish of Hindringham,which are collected by the Hon. Secretary.

Provision of Allottment gardens for members of the Parish

We have equipment that is lent to 'Friends of' groups, to maintain and enhance public open spaces. We coordinate a forum for greenspace groups in Lancaster District. We are responsible for community orchard on NHS-owned land next to De Vitre House, Lancaster. We comment on local development plans and planning applications. We help fund raise for Friends of Freeman's Wood and Greaves Park

PROVIDES GRANT TO MAINLY LOCAL ORGANISATIONS THAT PROVIDE HELP TO LOCAL PEOPLE

Management of Community owned assets (Village Hall, village playground, and associated village green). Fund raising for development and on going management of assets.Organize events for the benefit of the community.

The hall provides a community building & facility for all the local community to use for recreation & sport. We help the general public & elderly community. We arrange a variety of events, ranging from medieval feasts, quiz nights, monthly lunches, band nights, pantomines, garden shows etc. Other clubs such as bowls hire the hall for their activities.

Relieving either generally or individually persons resident in the Parish of Appledore who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.

PROVIDING EQUIPMENT AND ACTIVITIES TO BENEFIT THE CHILDREN AT THE SCHOOL.

Manage Hackney allotment provision and promote horticulture in the Borough.

This charity is for the benefit of the population of the parish of Middle Rasen, Lincolnshire and community organisations therein.

We are a group of volunteers responsible for the maintenance of the village playing fields, pavilion and children's play equipment, with full responsibility for replacement when needed. We organise various fund raising activities throughout the year to help pay for repairs and renewals.
