The Friends of Gledhow Valley Woods aim to protect, enhance and conserve Gledhow Valley Woods. We want to make the woods the best they can be for wildlife with good access for all the users of the woods. We hold monthly action mornings to carry out tasks such as building and maintaining footpaths, wild flower meadow management, bulb planting and litter picking.

To at as Trustees and Provide support to land known as the Meadows for the residents of Appley Bridge and surrounding area ,to provide help and support to the residents of Appley Bridge and immediate areas. To provide community events to support our area.

We are the Friends of Hailsham Old Pavilion set up to fundraise & support this renovated cinema/theatre in Hailsham Town Centre. Our active fundraising programme has a fundraising event most months of the year. We hold events including Quiz Evenings, Film Showings, Open Garden, Coffee Morning. We run a stand during April/May selling ice cream, locally made items etc. at Bates Green Farm.

We are a voluntary Community Association. We maintain premises for social and community activities for all ages eg Whist drives, Parent and Toddler, Film shows, Illustrated talks, Summer Fun Day, Quizzes, Social Events. We also welcome a local Special Needs School to use the open space and sports courts, and we support local charities.

Woodland Lodge is an activity centre set in 4 acres of ancient woodland for use of the whole community. Residential holidays, day/evening events take place. The management committee manage the site on behalf of Rayleigh and Castle Point divisions

TO ASSIST IN THE RESTORATION, MAINTENANCE & UPKEEP, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, OF NAUNTON PARK AND ITS GARDENS.

Alongside normal church worship activities we facilitate the following community activities; Foodbank, Parent and toddler group, ROC cafe (teenagers), Computer Club, Community Garden.

Maintenace of Public Open Space for Recreational Activities

The Hall trustees maintain and improve the fine historic building, garden and large car park so that a wide range of community groups, other organisations and local residents can use the hall for their chosen activities. The large hall is suitable for public meetings, weddings and parties, etc. Annual events hosted by the Hall have includes an Art Show, Flower/Garden Show and a Christmas Party.

Promotion and furtherance of the art, science and practice of horticulture. Make gardening accessible to people with learning disabilities, reduce economic barriers by selling gardening supplies, provide information on growing food organically, care for wildlife and the environment, organise gardening shows, arrange educational and social fundraising activities, regenerate local allotments

To stimulate awareness of the threat posed by erosion to features of public and historic interest on the NAZE and to secure their protection.To stimulate awarenessof the threat posed by erosion of the NAZE to the Walton Backwaters National Nature Reserve and to secure the protection afforded by the NAZE to the Reserve, the town of Walton on the Naze, and surrounding communities.

To provide and maintain as a memorial to the people of East Grinstead a public park with playing fields and recreation grounds. Also to encourage and promote any form of public recreation or education or any other charitable object.

To relieve either generally or individually persons resident in the parishes of Dunchurch and Thurlaston, who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.Managing the assets of the Trust for the benefit of the community.Maintain the allotments for tenants from Dunchurch and the surrounding area.

Provide a Hall and facilities as our village's home for all kinds of activities and events. Large lawn area enables outdoor events in good weather. It is busy but hire fees do not fully cover outgoings so the Committee also run fund raising events such as a monthly Village Market, Allotments and Film shows. Also we house local and general elections and the local emergency centre.

AFI supports an impoverished community in South Africa where 40% of the people are HIV positive. We fund community gardens, water tanks, boreholes, food supplements, new vehicles, orphans, key workers, a women's self-help group etc. AFI workers in the UK are volunteers, all money raised goes directly to Ingwavuma. Trustees regularly visit Ingwavuma to ensure the money is correctly spent.

Providing a hall & gardens for hire by parishioners of Roxwell and other local communities to use for community, educational and social purposes.

We run allotments for local people. We also rent out fields and invest. Our income is donated in the form of small grants to those in need who meet the Trust's objects.

The charity continues to hold raffles and social events for the patients at the hospital. The charity is also involved in maintaining hospital gardens together with another local charity. Occasionally the group join in local charity activities and events.

Promoting the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment through the development and maintenance of a community garden based on sustainable horticultural practices and the promotion of biodiversity.Providing informal and formal teaching opportunities for learning about horticulture, conservation, woodworking, beekeeping and related subjects.

The charity was founded on bequests from various benefactors to Bilton in the past, including monies and freehold land currently used as allotments. The income from investment of the monies and allotment rents received is used for the benefit of the poor, the elderly and the younger inhabitants of the ancient parish of Bilton.

The aim of the Trust is to give financial assistance to keen young horticulturists, and those new to horticulture, enabling them to further their knowledge of plants in the wild, or in gardens. This study could take any of the following forms - photography, painting, written observations, seed collecting or help with conservation projects, especially involving garden plants.

Provide and manage allotments for residents of Tadley and provide relief of need by way of grants for individuals or organisations in the parish of Tadley.

To provide facilities for healthy recreation (particularly gardening and horticulture) and leisure-time pursuits in the interest of social welfare for the inhabitants of Fleetwood and surrounding areas who have need of such facilities by reason of their infirmity or disablement, youth, age, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.
