The 104 ft Folly Tower was built by Lord Berners in 1935, with magnificent views from the Belvedere Room and access to the roof. It the stands at the top of Folly Hill in the centre of our 4-acre circular woodland. The Tower is open to the public on the first and third Sundays of the month from April till the end of October. The general public have "permissive access" to the woodland

The Wallasey G. H. Peers was est 1877. Club membership is male & female from 17 yrs to some in their eighties. There are out-door bowls April/Oct for those unable to play. There are seats in the extensive rose garden for them to watch & enjoy refreshments, snooker (4 tables) is available 12 months, with bridge played Mon-Wed-Fri. Social afternoon, last Fri of every month, with tea & cakes.

Fund raising PTA

Annual community events,cofffee mornings etc. Production of the quarterly New Bilton News newsletter delivered free to New Bilton residents by volunteers(approx 30). We now hire premises to facilitate our activitiesus of a joclub and IT . There is a well used community website at www.nbca.org.uk. An award winning community garden used by 8 volunteers is funded by the NBCA as an ongoing project.

Village committees including WI, Parish Council, Weston Society, Garden Club,training days and courses, Quiz and Film Nights, dancing,social gatherings, talks, concerts

The primary objective of the Charity is the advancement of the Christian faith both in the United Kingdom and overseas. It also seeks the advancement for public benefit of religious education and the care of aged, poor, sick or disabled persons. The Charity is based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, and all beneficiaries of the Charity, even if overseas, have local connections or interests.

Charity concentrates on nature conservation & renewal with particular emphasis on natural deciduous woodlands, and the rural craftspeople who work in the sector. Also contributes to research, as moth & insect surveys. Supports young farmers entering the sector with a farming with nature agenda on specific projects. Emphasis on North and East Yorkshire

This charity owns and manages two Almshouses located in Suffield Road, High Wycombe providing self contained accommodation with gardens to elderly persons from High Wycombe who are facing financial hardship.

Provides a community hall facility for the use of the local community.

Open the castle to individuals, organisations schools and the general public, including access to the castle itself, picnic area, woodland walk and Education Visitor Centre housing artifacts of the 13th century, recovered from the castle.

We promote education in botany, horticulture, ecology and environmental science on the Isle of Wight. We stimulate interest and advance knowledge through organizing events including talks, walks, outings and workshops. Where possible, we provide support for students pursuing a career in horticulture and for appropriate projects in parks and gardens which advance mental and physical health

Development and maintenance of Royal Wootton Bassett Community Nature Reserve.Improving green spaces in Royal Wootton Bassett.Promoting active travel, the use of sustainable resources & products and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions & waste within the community.

Meadow Vale PTA is a Parent and Teacher Association with the aim of raising money for the benefit of children at Meadow Vale Primary School. Fundraising activities include our annual summer and Christmas Fairs, discos etc. Monies raised directly benefit the school and its children such as funding new playground equipment, the AstroTurf, the annual school pantomime and smaller items.

Running events and activities in Middleton Park to encourage more people to use this fabulous greenspace in the heart of south LeedsWorking parties in the park and woodlandWorking in partnership with Wade's Charity (who own the park) and Leeds City Council (who maintain it)
