Works in close cooperation and partnership with officers and members of Bradford M.D.C and Ilkley Town Council.

Supporting the local community by the provision of a village green and other amenities

Conservation and promotion of wildlife in the woods while improving usability for local people and schools. Bug hunts, Treasure Hunts, Easter Egg Hunts, Wassailing Event, Celebration Events, Fashion Shows, Race Nights. Manage local woodland and paths for use and enjoyment of local people. Environmental studies for local schools.

Friends of Parklands Primary organise events for pupils of Parklands Primary School and their families, to raise money for the benefit of all children at the school.

Provision of facilities to local bodies for Parish Council purposes, WomenÔÇÖs Institute purposes, local Church functions, use of facilities by private individuals through the year, hire of equipment. Opportunity for the villages to meet in a fund-raising social and formal atmosphere through Summer Ball, New Year Party, Bingo evenings, donations to local Air Ambulance and Village Green.

Raises funds for the school where our children go. We undertake many fundraising activities - sponsored events, movie nights, summer and xmas fairs/fun nights, cake sales, plant sales, raffles, discos and sleepovers. We also receive donations.

Organisation of fundraising activities, for example, fayres, sales and social events for both parents and pupils. Grant monies to the school to improve and enhance the pupils learning and environment.

Monday and Wednesday woodcraft sessions 1-40pm. Tuesday painting for pleasure 6-8pm. 3rd Thursday garden club 6pm. 2nd Saturday district council surgery 10-30am. "Hands On" for adults and children in various venues around the district.

The Charity provides equestrian services to children and young adults with a mental or physical disability in West and East Sussex in order for them to gain therapeutic benefit and have the opportunity to achieve. The core purpose is to benefit the health and wellbeing of our riders and give them the opportunity to learn new skills, and achieve personal goals and ambitions.

The Friends of Ellington Park undertake activities to inform, educate, encourage a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing, and encourage community spirit for residents of, and visitors to, Ramsgate.These activities are held within a public park, and are open to everyone regardless of age, gender, ability or ethnicity.

Activities associated with the management of Fleet Pond nature reserve and SSSI. Active volunteer management, quarterly newsletter, guide leaflets, talks and guided walks aimed at improving awareness and protection of the nature reserves wildlife. Educational visits for local community groups and for schools and youth groups. Corporate team building management tasks for local companies.

The Colnbrook Town House Trust was originally set up by a Thomas Pitt, on 3rd April 1657, to help the poor and needy. Over the years the property was sold off. We now support the old and needy and widows who live between the bridges at Park Street and the Western limit of Colnbrook excluding Moreland Avenue and Drift Way, also up to Crown Meadow, Moreland Avenue and Drift Way with ad-hoc grants.

Our charity's activities to raise funds include, Holding a annual music quiz, which includes the drawing of our Valentines raffle. We also hold a summer fayre hosted by one of our committee members in her garden. We also hold a Christmas market & we take part in the annual 'Elf Walk' arranged by one of the employees at our local Police headquarters. All funds go towards helping TNBC sufferers.

we help the elderly of Westbury and surrounding villages, giving them somewhere to meet friends catch up on local gossip,they also have a cooked meal,play bingo, excercises and we are hoping next year to have guest speakers on varied subjects,usually three day trips are organised seaside or garden centre,it also helps if we feel someone not looking ok we talk to our co ordinator.

Manages recreational space and equipment in the centre of the village

Charity provides gardening services for people who cannot tend their gardens and cannot afford prices of professional gardeners. Many people benefit from the services and are elderly or have disabilities. Volunteers gain a huge amount from this service to the community with support and access to training. Providing support and training for volunteers, some of whom have learning difficulties.

Public open space

Twyning school PTFA raises funds to enhance the education and enjoyment of Twyning school pupils.e.g. buying classroom equipment over and above that usually provided, supporting extra school activities , maintaining our "secret garden" - funded for educational and recreational use by the children and paying for transport for the whole school to visit the pantomime each year.
