To provide a Community Garden on the site of the former Cymmer Comprehensive School Garden. This Community Garden will serve the village of Cymmer and other local villages. The Community Garden will provide opportunities to grow vegetables, flowers and enjoy a peaceful environment to relax. All members of our community will benefit, including families,children, youths, the elderly and the disabled

The Trust is involved in the protection and conservation of historic parks and gardens. It promotes awareness of them through lectures, visits and study days. It awards grants for conservation projects and to schools and community groups to encourage horticultural activities. Research into historic designed landscapes is encouraged with findings being published in its Journal.

Activities and events take place in a large woodland - wildlife observation,camping,bushcraft,exhibitions,concerts and christian seminars.

Sharing Lives is a Christian charity that looks to share the love of Jesus with the community. Starting in Chessington and growing across Hook, Surbiton and Epsom, we run a befriending service and have a community garden and run a "Men's Shed" work.

Supports activities, events, campaigns and projects that aim to improve green spaces in Wallingford and Cholsey for the community and for the environment.

THE CHARITY HOLDS ACTIVITIES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR WOODLAND GRANGE PRIMARY SCHOOL. THE SCHOOL IDENTIFIES AREAS THAT THE CHARITY CAN DONATE FUNDS TO HELP ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL.

Rooting for Andover supports allotments and community gardens in the Test Valley area. We hold regular volunteer days at our main garden at Poppy Park adjacent to the grounds of the Augusta Park Community centre. Throughout the year, we hold a variety of community events in the garden which are advertised on social media. We are open to all and everyone is welcome.

Award of grants and bursaries to students from Shropshire and contiguous counties undertaking horticultural training at RHS Gardens or other RHS approved training courses.

Activities began with helping to secure land for a remote Maasai community in Kenya in order to build a school. This led to further projects including the build of the school and ongoing funding of education there. The growing relationship with the communities in Kenya has led to a number of projects being identified with which the charity helps, such as the school feeding and water programme.

We fundraise to facilitate and organise activities and events to educate, inform and benefit our community. For example we have organised: food fairs, nature festivals, gardening in the community and forest garden, seed and plant swaps, tree trails, and art trails and workshops involving the local school, youth club and other organisations,

The Woodlands Village Hall provides a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Marchington Woodlands and the adjascent villages and hamlets. The hall is available for public and private events. It provides, with the exception of the village church, the sole community facility in the Parish of Marchington Woodlands.

Horse Riding for children with disabilities.

The charity has created a public park on a piece of derelict land in the market town of Malton. It is now open to the public daily, is used for public/community events, open air theatre & music and educational activities.

We manage and maintain Kilndown Millennium Green, an open space for recreation in the civil Parish of Goudhurst and the ecclesiastical Parish of Kilndown in Kent

The charity looks to organise lettings for events ,raise money by fund raising and grant application .This funding is used to maintain the 34 acres the charity owns by way of land management, trees, grass cutting general repairs to boundary fences ,security gates ,footpaths and providing facilities for events to be placed on our fields

Fund raising included Skittles night, Bingo night, Raffles, Open Garden, Coffee Mornings, Bag Packing at local Supermarkets, Shop and Local table top sales and the Hospital Tea Trolley.

Our objectives are the restoration, preservation, conservation and improvement of Dulwich Park as a public facility of historic and ecological interest, preserving the features, conserving the natural parkland and wildlife sanctuary and enhancing the whole Park and the use of it for the relaxation, leisure and tranquility of the public and to stimulate the interest of the public in the Park

Raise funds for the school by organising a range of activities. Examples include: School discos, Christmas and summer fairs, 2nd hand uniform sales, quiz nights and raffles

Mullion in Bloom is a group of volunteer garden enthusiasts who work together with Mullion Parish Council to create and maintain the floral displays throughout the village, as well as maintaining several green spaces and car parks within the village centre.

Melbury Osmond Village Hall provides a venue for the community of Melbury Osmond and beyond for a variety of activities. These include village events such as the Summer Fete and Flower Show, the Arts including theatre and stage productions for all ages and groups, regular meetings including WI, keep fit groups, Garden & Show Society, Tennis Club, Church Social events & Parish Meetings etc.

PACE Manningtree volunteers carry out environmental conservation actions and projects in the wider Manningtree area which tackle climate change and biodiversity loss such as tree planting, electric cargo bikes, community solar energy schemes, water quality work, wildlife gardening, allotments, local food initiatives.
