Provision of allotment plots for the residents of WHITNASH in the County of Warwickshire.The provision of this service started in the year 1850.

The Cwmgwili Miners' Welfare Committee meet every other month to arrange various activities to entertain the villagers in order to bring the community together and to raise money for the maintenance and improvement of the Village Hall. This year they have been raising money and received some Grants to establish a Miner's Memorial Garden on the village green, which will be an ongoing project.

Knitted garments for Zimbabwe & local hospital. Xmas shoe boxes. Donation to ACWW. Fundraising events annually for a designated charity.

PURPOSES OF A PUBLIC PARK AND RECREATION GROUND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE TOWN OF PONTYPRIDD AND THE ADJOINING DISTRICT

The advancement of horticulture and in particular the cultivation of orchidaceous plants and in furtherance thereof to hold shows, arrange visits to nurseries Botanic Gardens and similar places, and to cultivate and disseminate information upon all matters concerning cultivation of orchidaceous plants.

Annually we have donated a Christmas Tree for the Village Green, held mulled wine with carols at Christmas and organised Summer get togethers, all at no cost the our community. We have continued to maintain the Village Association plot of land and host charitable fund raising events. The Association also serves to support other local charities and individuals in need of support.

This charity raises money to be used for the conservation of the fabric of St John the Baptist Church Westfield East Sussex Fund raising activities include social and coffee mornings & garden parties

Manage the windmill hill site to preserve the rich flora and fauna and protect the bird life.Maintain the hedgerows and grassland with accompanying footpaths and styles.Undertake authentic preservation of the Grade II listed stone tower windmill to the standards set by the Bridgnorth District Council Conservation Officer.

Provision and maintenance of playing field facilities including football pitch, all-weather sports court, pavilion, children's play equipment etc, allotments, paddock and car-parking.

Monthly meetings are held with speakers/demonstrators covering various subjects - educational and/or artistic. Visits are made to historical buildings and gardens and to various places of work to increase knowledge of the past and present.

Currently raising funds to assist groups for the christmas tree festival. Continuingto raise funds for the national memorial garden up keep. Assist other groups to access charitable funds.

Provide help for those in need

We are a group of volunteers who offer the sport of Carriage Driving to disabled children and adults for their recreation, therapy, learning and fun. Our drivers enjoy drives around lanes,fields and woodland tracks, learning to drive competitively and for recreation around cones and obstacles, and how to take care of our ponies, carriages and harness.Members of the Riding for the Disabled Assoc.

DCV volunteers assist in the management and improvement of nature reserves and the maintenance of the public footpath and bridleway network throughout Dorset.We work on weekends throughout the year, undertaking a wide variety of work for charitable and statutory nature conservation organisations, local authorities and private landowners.

Open spaces

To provide facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation by providing an area for use as a community garden and other activities for individuals in The Limes, South Ashford and surrounding area.

We work with our school, parents, pupils & the local community to put on a range of events andactivities, (Cake bake, Mothers Day Secret Room, Summer & Xmas Fairs). These help to build the schoolcommunity, break down barriers and help fundraise. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods andservices that help advance the education of pupils at our school.

The charity operates from an apiary in one of the formal gardens at Mt Edgcumbe Country Park, England's first Native Honey Bee Reserve. The conservation programme is used to educate the public about the importance of pollinators and to help beekeepers improve their own stock using best practice guidelines. Activities include open days, demonstrations, courses, citizen science and public events.

Leisure activity involving gardening, socialising, relaxing in an outdoor environment and physical exercise.Those taking part can be of any age. The garden is an accessible environment. The community garden is situated in an area where there are pockets of deprivation and there are a number of flats with no gardens.
